The Louie, A Davenport Hotel, Autograph Collection®

Room was smaller than expected. The hotel entrance was not setup properly for a disabled person. Busted my knees a few times on the door in and out of hotel lobby. The bathroom was setup for somewhat disabled person but the tub was very slippery the bench for shower was slippery. It took me about 30 minutes to get out of tub. I had stroke in June of 2023 which left my right side of the body paralyzed so I was in wheelchair. The hotel I was in had no amenities. When asked for anything we were told to go across the street to the main hotel.

The extra deep bathtub was sooo nice! The staff were very helpful, genuinely kind and very grateful. We didn't get in until 1:00 in the morning and they still were very attentive. They let us have a late check out at 1:00 the next day. The view as well

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. Loved the whole hotel. Super charming and sweet. Plus, complimentary champagne on arrival.. can’t complain about that!

The staff was great and the room was comfortable. The place gave a nostalgic feel but didn’t smell old and musty. Great downtown location, close to everything.

Then came an especially wonderful surprise when we checked in and saw Malachi. I first met Malachi in May 2025, and I was so happy to see him again. His customer service, attention to detail, and genuine warmth immediately stood out to us once again. Malachi has that rare ability to make you feel like a valued guest rather than simply another person checking into a hotel. He is the kind of employee who goes above and beyond without hesitation. His welcoming personality, professionalism, and sincere desire to make guests feel special are truly exceptional. You can tell that providing outstanding hospitality comes naturally to him. Employees like Malachi are what create the kind of experience guests remember long after they leave. The Louie is incredibly fortunate to have someone of Malachi’s caliber on its team. He is a true asset to the hotel and represents the very best of hospitality. Please make sure he knows how much his efforts are appreciated—we certainly noticed, and they made our stay even more enjoyable. Our only small suggestion would be to have the shower drain checked, as it drained quite slowly. Other than

The Hotel is very high quality and comfortable. It has been updated in an impeccable manner to match the original style of 100 years ago. The bed was extremely comfortable, plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The front desk and bell team were very quick to respond and very helpful. We appreciated the complimentary coffee and pastry each morning. We ate at the Palm Court Grill and had a delicious meal at a reasonable price. Thank you!

Beautiful remodeled hotel with lots of history.

The property was amazing. Every staff member was attentive and so kind. The hotel is beautiful and the room was perfect. We were unable to access the workout room, which sucked, but it was fine. In their emporium the peanut brittle is 10/10, the pastries are delish, and the chai was so yummy. The peacock lounge was amazing as well. A bit of a splurge for us, but worth it overall.

We stayed at Louie for a weekend getaway and it was perfect. Clean room, polite staff, and good location for walking to nearby food and drinks. Would stay here again!

Clean room, staff failed to respond quickly to requests

Exceptionally clean and comfy. The pool was clean,warm and beautiful After swimming you have to cross the busy downtown street outside in the cold while wet,with people staring. -not recieving my funds for a deposit back onto my CC without calling them. - paying $20.00 unoptional. Included 2 bottle water and 2 tickets to grab a 12oz coffee or bakery food item (cookie, muffin) -The cost to park with the Davenport is almost $30.00!! That is insane pricing! The meter parking is only good parking if it lands on a weekend!
