Montvale Hotel

This was a really great hotel that has been renovated and part of bringing a core back to the downtown of Spokane. Great restaurants around and the complimentary breakfast at Rosie's was wonderful. Would definitely stay here again. Our pillows in the room seemed a little older and small but it could be that replenishing with new items are taking some time. Really nice stay.

Great location town to walk to events in downtown Spokane .

Absolutely loved this hotel. Huge rooms with super comfortable beds and a fantastic shower. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go and the breakfast at Rosie's was delicious. We got ours to go and enjoyed it in our room while getting ready to leave. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again if I ever find myself in Spokane again.

Excellent location, good discounts at nearby restaurants, and beautiful building and rooms. Love the second floor 24 hour coffee and tea bar. Would definitely stay again.

I love the location of the Montvale, you can walk everywhere. They have a cut tea and coffee center that is available, love this. The rooms are clean and roomy. The bed was a little soft for me but that’s just personal preference

The delightful second floor seating area under the third floor skylight was the highlight of my stay. A wonderful way to get out of our great room and read a book or just have some quality child.

The staff was always pleasant, helpful and accommodating. Nice change from the big hotel chains.

Comfortable and clean.

Started off horrible. The staff was about to downgrade my room because i was in the loft eith a wheelchair and the way she told me to go up had stairs. She was going to downgrade to just a room from a 2 bedroom/living/kitchen... thankful for another guest who said "ill go find your room and see if there is another way up for you" he was awesome found another way and had to show the EMPLOYEE how to get there. I couldn't believe a guest would do that , not the worker and the worker was just going to change my room. Well the rest of it went great. There was a guy outside shouting for more than a hour one night which sucked but you are downtown.

Loved the historic vibe. Got in late and left early so not much time spent, but the breakfast was excellent! Only thing I would have liked was black out curtains since it was near summer solstice with early light and the street light were coming through the blinds. Will stay again when we come back though Spokane

The place was nice and clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good better than expected, the hotel was historic and cozy.

I loved the history of the hotel and the Vintage wood furniture throughout. Truly stunning. It's proximity to downtown was great, literally walking distance to several attractions. The bed was very comfortable and the surrounding restaurants were fantastic.

The hotel was was clean, close to centre. The only down side was the hotel had lights on all night and these were at window level so it was bright in our room all night. No curtains to block it out only blinds which were not think enough.

First impression when entering the lobby is rather dismal. But after getting off elevator, it’s a nicely renovated hotel. Decor is yesteryear. Very clean and spacious room! Bed comfort so-so. Rickety lamp. Lots of light coming through window prevents easy sleep. Self parking might be a pain.

A unique historic hotel with comfortable modern amenities. Delightful stay!

The staff are all friendly and helpful. And the facility seemed extremely clean. There's an elevator to go to all the floors but in the center of the hotel there's an open type of atrium with a balcony around each floor and ornate stairways winding up to each floor from the previous floor

Beautiful hotel and comfy room. Parking is secure behind the hotel itself. Just be careful in the immediate surrounding areas. Lots of homeless and sketchy people.
