Our stay was perfect all round. The hotel is in an excellent location in a lovely street. Our room was at the back and very quiet. Also, the hotel manager was absolutely charming. Parking in the hotel car park was extremely easy and at a very advantageous rate.

PRÉS DU VIELLE VILLE ET LA CATHÉDRALE.

Great location in downtown Strasbourg, just steps from the river/canal and very close to the Cathedral. The room had everything we needed at a great price, and the hotel also offers convenient parking at an affordable rate for the area.

Great location! Friendly staff! Central location

No staff at all. No reception desk, nobody to ask about storing luggage or anything else. Instructed to let ourselves in with an emailed code; our keys, and many others, were arrayed on a side table with last names written on envelopes. To check out, keys are hung on a peg. Room was dark, grim, and up three flights of narrow stairs with no elevator. A loud drilling noise persisted every couple of minutes all night long. Stained carpet, only one outlet. Room was not made up our second night; someone came in, left bottles of water, and departed without doing anything else.

The location is optimal, in the middle of the city center, close to the water and places to eat (only bad thing is that there’s a bar in front of the hotel so theres people all night making noise, and so close to the cathedral which rings bells every half an hour for like 10 minutes every time). It doesnt have an elevator and we stayes in the 4th floor without a heads up (my husband has a knee injury and if was quite hard going up and down every time). The carpets were all stained and dirty (not just the room, the stairs and hallways). The window didnt open fully and there was a weird smell in the room (probably the dirty carpets). There is no reception at all, its kind of like a self service and using a code to enter. Basically this is why i didnt complain to anyone. The toilet paper from the bathroom is NOT toilet paper but some sort of paper napkins. The bed was okay but the pillows where thin as a towel. Like they forgot to put the stuffing inside the pillow. Finally, the key has a huge keychain which is super uncomfortable to carry around.

Location was excellent. Hotel staff were super helpful and friendly.

The location of the hotel is ideal for those people who plan to live in the very center of the city, so that all attractions are within walking distance. The staff and attitude to guests is very friendly, ready to help at the first request. Daily cleaning of the room, adding capsules for the coffee machine and bottles of water also left a pleasant impression. The room although neat, is very small. The bedding is clean but old. Pillows may show uncomfortable for those who like hard pillows. Soundproofing is very poor. In our room, the faucet on the sink was so installed that it was almost impossible to wash your hands (very little space, about 5-6 cm was from the tip of the faucet to the bottom of the sink). In general, the rooms definitely need renovation. But the time spent was pleasant and the impressions of the hotel were positive.

Very central. Very clean and comfortable room.

I chose the property due to the location being right in downtown. It was a great location close to the Cathedral and everything else. Like many other people said there is no elevator but it wasn’t that big of an issue for me. I only had one bad. I was on the 3rd floor which wasn’t horrible considering I’m young. Could be more difficult for others. You hear everything!! The walls are extremely thin. Also people came in really late yelling from being out. also the wifi hardly worked.

Location was great. Price for a night was fair. Place was what I expected for that price. Clean and confortable bed Windows let us hear noise from street. Walls are also very thin, could hear other people next room. The thing thar holds the shower was broken. No plug for phone near bed, so they give a long cord, which wasn't realt long

Hotel has a great location. With walking distance to all the main attractions of the city. Automatic checkin was also very convenient. Room was very small making it almost imposible to move within and same thing was also for the bathroom. Pilows and sheets were very old and very unconfortable. In the hotel entrance you could always smell some flavours comming from the restaurant next to it. There was only stairs access to the highest floor which could be very unconfortable if you have heavy luggage. And the strangest thing was that in our room was only one power plug. We had to wake up in the middle of the night to charge our phones by turn.

Location was great. The fact they allow dogs was wonderful. The room was a box with filthy carpet. I know they allow pets but you would think the rooms would not have carpet just in case there was accidents. The bed and pillows were really uncomfortable. Would not stay again.
