Loosha Hostel

The bed is private with a curtain, you can get one extra blanket if needed, the dining area was comfortable. The hostel is big and full of people when I went. Given the volume of people, it would be great to put the AC and lights in the room on a timer. Without this people are constantly changing the temperature to their preferred temp and turning the lights on without consideration for others. The women’s bathroom has no ventilation. It was always uncomfortably hot in there especially with the blow dryers and the showers had mold/water marks. Water temp kept changing during the shower.

The room need some love and renovation and new paint, scratch marks on the walls. 6 floor but we can here the street noise. Other places with similar price can give you a better expirience. Was kind of clean, smell was a bit funny and felt a bit dusty to cause allergy.

The room was big and as they showed in the pictures. Staffs are all nice and infornative. Breakfast was very nice and healthy. Location is very near the station. Love the hostel for their sense of caring, facilitating, smoking free . Will stay here if visit Taichung again. -

A very clean and organized facility with spacious capsules to sleep in. You needed your key card to access each room, the female-only floor, your luggage storage space, and turn on the power in your capsule. It felt very secure, but I wish the key had a wristband attached, as I was always afraid of misplacing it when I didn't have any pockets. I'm only 5'1", so I'm not sure how it is for taller people, but I could sit up very comfortably in the top capsule. I appreciated that the curtain didn't cover the entire bed because it made it stuffy, but the curtain was also sturdy and blocked out light fairly well. Part of the bed was blocked off with a vented panel to improve airflow, which was helpful. The bag storage was also very convenient and large. I only had a small hiking backpack with me, but you could easily fit a small carry-on suitcase or bag if necessary. There was also open space below the locked storage space for each bed, so if you had larger luggage, you could leave it there. The breakfast included with the room was also delicious and fresh! The hallway also had extra pillows and comforters available, which was a nice touch.

Friendly and welcoming staff - introduce a lot of attractive places for us. Near to TaiChung train station, easily access to a few hot spots by walking.

The staff are so friendly and helpful! The beds are really comfy and the breakfast is delicious. We have stayed in dorms and a private room, both are excellent. We liked it so much we decided to return. The space to relax is great!!

Location near to the train station. Nice common area to relax. There are a lot of bathrooms and toilets, and I no need to worry about any peak hours

Good common area and nice staff. Location is good. The bed was very flat, it didn't feel hygienic. There were stains on my sheets and a lot of mold in the shower area.

Location/ veggies at breakfast/ lounge area Is just a bit overpriced for a hostel, but still great value. One night was just perfect.

- common area was spacious and welcoming - breakfast - conveniently located within walking distance from Train Station - the card sensor, once removed, it disconnects the electrical socket from charging handphone and turns off the bed light. Waking up to go to the toilet in the middle of the night was a pitch dark adventure. With room light was turned off, while the card sensor was removed, the bed light was turned off. Walk with care. - staff can be more approachable and friendly. The breakfast was pleasant and well-made. - on my fifth night (Saturday), another bunk mate climbed up the upper deck around 12am midnight. Once he settled in, the room was quiet for a couple of minutes. The whole room was then filled with his loud snoring like a machine gun which even drowned the other bunk mate’s softer snoring. Boy, I was sleepless for that whole night.
