Hotel Orsaria

The room had air conditioning, which was a must in June during the heat wave. The sheets were clean No lift to get to the rooms, they're quite small. The breakfast was just okay, and I wouldn't stay there again.

The room I stayed in 707 definitely needs upgrade. It smell bad, like mold or humidity, air conditioner was making a sound all night. My friends stayed at 705 and that one smell good, it wasnt the same as mine.

The lady that ran the continental breakfast was very nice. The guy had to check in counter was rude and we asked for extra pillows, and we never got them. He seemed bothered that we asked for them

Location. Clean. No iron and ironing board. Hotel dream it’s for “safety”.

First off, the staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. Second, the rooms are gorgeous. It's a good spot if you're looking to be right by the train or bus, too. It only takes about an hour to walk across Venice in its entirety—and there's always the vaporetto. Would return.

Outside people smoke too much.

Lydia was terrific. Before our stay she responded questions clearly and completely. During our stay she was extremely pleasant and helpful. An outstanding staff member. Elevator would be nice.

I was told that I would receive a breakfast box upon leaving but the associate forgot to make a note of it… so no breakfast box… not a big deal but a tad bit disappointing since that was the associate’s idea

The location of the hotel was convenient, close to the Santa Lucia train station, the vaporetto station, restaurants and grocery store. Everything was at walking distance. The room was overlooking the street alley. The constant chatter and laughter of people passing by with their luggage from neighbouring hotels in the middle of the night made it difficult to have a good night sleep.

HELPFUL STAFF

Check in was at hotel across the street; while this was fine, would have been nice to know ahead of time.

The room was comfortable and well decorated and the included breakfast was great. It's so conveniently located near the train station, too! They have no elevator, so just be prepared to take your luggage up some stairs. Other than that, it was a wonderful stay!

Check in is a problem for folks arriving later in the evening. Property we stayed did not have a elevator. So carrying the bag upstairs was a hassle..

The location was close to the Santa Lucia train station and quiet. The room was very small and the shower was so tight that I had trouble washing. The hotel is a bit run down.

The location is perfect, very clean, and Antonio was very attentive in moving us to a room with an elevator.(my sister has recent mobility issues.)

Very close to the train station, maybe 5 minutes. Very quiet. Decent breakfast.

The location No Elevator: The hotel does not have an elevator. · Room Confusion: My room number suggested it was on the 6th floor, but it was actually on the 3rd. · Poor Service: When I asked the man on the afternoon shift about the elevator, he had a bad attitude. Instead of helping, he told me to find porters at the train station. · Unprofessional Response: After I complained, he was condescending and told me I needed to "understand and accept other countries' cultures." · Positive Note: The ladies working at the hotel were wonderful. · Overall: It was frustrating to be lectured instead of helped on my vacation.
