Thank you for a pleasant stay in Venice! The location is great! Very comfortable mattress and pillows. There is everything you need to cook your own meals.

Convenient Location, cost, clean , helpful staff Feels like a dormitory, nothing fancy

No screens on windows, but venice, so bring your bug spay! So many stairs ( inside 2 flights ) but again venice! No air conditioning. The fan provided helped some but we definitely couldn't do it in the summer. Stayed in may 2026. For the price and location?? WORTH IT!

The location was just excellent. At a walking distance from main train station and to all main tourist sites. The staff was very polite and kind, they had a pretty well equiped kitchen, courtesy coffee, tea and water at all times. Internet with good speed. Plus, the pet dog "Bubo" was the cutest thing to see and play with. Unfortunately the bathroom instalation was not ideal. Water was difficult to get at a good temperature. The owner did told us that they called maintenance to solve for this problem. But I also felt that only two shared bathrooms were not enough for the amount of rooms. Had to wait to use the toilet and take a shower more then once.

The location of Archie’s house is right in Venice and unbeatable. Extremely walkable to all parts of the city. Lots of shops, food and activities around. I would definitely recommend staying here for convenience and not having to take transportation to the island everyday. It was very safe, no concerns at all. The staff were extremely nice and pleasant. We arrived early for check-in and they let us drop off our bags for free and took them to our room when it was ready. The room itself was very very big and clean. A lot of space for all your belongings. The bed was big and comfortable. Sheets were very clean. No complaints at all. There was a sink directly in the room, which made communal bathrooms not bad. There is also an air dryer in the room. The shared bathrooms were well maintained and felt very clean too. It is noisey during the day, but that is what you get for the perfect location. However, it always quieted down after sunset. No issues sleeping. 10/10 would come back. Thank you for having us.? Location was amazing, staff member was super friendly and helpful, great value for the price. Nothing. All good.

We came by ferry and got good advice which station to get out to reach the hostel. The hostel is kept amazingly clean, and has a common room with microwave, egg cooker, water filter, coffee machine and toaster (no stove). Very good value for money and very responsive host. Will definitely be visiting again, if I come back to Venice. Nothing comes to mind.

No AC, but a few big fans helped cool down the room pretty well, definitly worth it for the price and location.

I loved the location and the view. Good price. Bathrooms are a little tight, and you’re sharing with everyone (some people happen to be inconsiderate and take over an hour in the bathroom) but it is a great place to stay in for a quick trip to Venice if you aren’t wanting to spend a lot of money.

Mosquitoes everywhere. I have 25 mosquito bites on me. It is super loud. No mosquito nets and no ac. Sad stay

Location was perfect, our room was large and although it was hot in the summer our room was equipped with two fans to help us cool down. Some of the other guests staying at the same time as us didn’t make us feel the most comfortable.

Great location in Cannaregio, long but walkable to the city center. Lots of great restaurants nearby. Host was helpful, friendly and very responsive. Shared bathrooms are always available, never had to wait to use one. Shared kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and had free food, coffee and tea. I would highly recommend! It’s more affordable if one is not expecting a 4 or 5 star hotel. It’s more like a room in an airbnb!

Stefano takes great care of his uncle's Hostel and has created a cosy, friendly atmosphere. Archie's House is a well-looked after place, nicely situated in the middle of a not too touristic area with lots of places to eat out or shop and is in an easy walking distance to the train and bus station and to various boat stops. The little tea kitchen is perfect for people who want to have their own breakfast or other uncooked (there is no stove) meals. It's not luxurious (obviously, it's a hostel), but safe , clean and a perfect bang for your buck.

Location: 10 Minute walk from main station, though if you'd like to take a waterbus going here, there's a station just 3 minutes away from the hotel. Loved the location, underneath are a lot of restaurants and a supermarket close by; super convinient. I felt like this hotel was central to a lot of places so it was super convinient to just walk around. Again since there are restaurants in the area, it gets a bit loud at night but it wasnt much of a problem for us Great staff! And probaly one of the only places that Ive been that provided hot water and free coffee Only accesible by stairs so if people have a lot of luggage it might be hard for them.

for its price a normal room. Nice and friendly staff, everything is clean but not new for a long time, especially the floor in the room was confusing. But in principle, if you only spend the night, then I recommend it.
