Location, location and the reception girl!!

This was a great location. The check-in process was so easy and quick. The room was spacious and the bathroom was always clean. Nothing.

It was a bait and switch! We were basically in a dumpy hostel setting. Not the hotel in these pictures It was dumpy in every way. There was mop water dripping water down the stairs. Mop water just sitting on the floor. Not the advertised bathroom or facilities. Even the daily room cleaning was terrible! It was like they just mopped the room with dirty water

people were nice but the room was a failure the room was like a prison cell
-
Loved the peaceful location in the Jewish quarter and the great a/c. Super clean bathrooms and great WiFi . Loved the care downstairs for breakfast Hard bed flat pillows but no huge deal

The bathroom vent had a hole on its net allowing mosquitos to get in. We had to buy an anti-bug spray to deal with the problem. Also, there was no mini-fridge in the room (just a communal one on the ground floor). With such a hot and humid weather it was really annoying not to have some cold water in the room.

The bathroom is the best. If they can allow check in directly at Hotel Leonardo instead of the other hotel at the other side of the bridge will be better

We stayed here for 3 days and had a wonderful experience. The location is perfect—everything in Venice is easily accessible within a 10–30 minute walk, making it an ideal base for exploring the city. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with any questions we had. The hotel offers excellent value for money, especially considering its convenient location and the quality of service provided. Overall, we had a great stay and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Venice.

The actual office to pick up keys and the hotel is 10 mins walk.

Good location not too far from the station, although down an alley this did mean it was fairly quiet. Would book again.

The location was great. It’s close to train station which meant we weren’t lugging suitcases through cobblestone streets and up and downstairs for long distances. It’s in a lively neighborhood — lots of restaurants, shops, pharmacies, anything you could possibly need. And because Venice is such a small city, we were never really more than 10 minutes away from anything we wanted to see. The room was clean and exactly as pictured. It’s minimally equipped, but it had the basics we needed. I didn’t like that we couldn’t use the AC. That was a Venice rule, not the property’s fault, but it meant we were sleeping with the windows open every night which let in extra noise and the occasional mosquito. It also would have been nice to have real cups to use with the kettle instead of paper ones. Neither was a huge deal. The AC thing is just something to note for Americans traveling abroad and the cup thing is an opportunity for improvement if they’re looking for one.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, the beds seemed to be new and had protectors (which I believe all hotel beds should have) and the location, it was great. From time to time you may hear noise from neighbouring and upstairs rooms, but it wasn’t an issue for us.
-
Good price, clean. Location - easy to get from the train station, walking distance. Lots of shops and cafes around.
-
It is very clean and very close to the train station and the vaporetto pier .
-
Location going to tourist spots are not good. Hotel check in area is 5 mins away from hotel.
-
Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff, easy check in and check out and very very very clean!

The room was warm and cozy. Staff was nice and explained everything politely and to my understanding. The bathroom in our room was renovated and very clean, with a big shower. There was even a shared refrigerator to use. Location was very central, loved this place and would definitely recommend staying here. Liked everything!

Mosquitoes, no A/C, terrible smell inside. I wouldn't consider this place a Hotel due to the size and set up.
-
It was in a perfect location and we got the best sleep because it was so quiet. Our room overlooked a vine covered restaurant patio that was delightful to see and hear.

Peaceful location and a good room size. It was nice to have the courtyard to sit in. Breakfast was minimal selection and the same food everyday. There could have been more variety of fruits and breads, they had a very small amount of cereal but no milk or bowls to use. When I asked about the milk and bowls for the cereal, their response was to use the milk from the coffee machine but the milk was empty. Also, most of the correspondence is through WhatsApp so you never see anyone except for the cleaning staff.
