Drury Inn & Suites West Des Moines

I’ve learned that Drury hotels are simply some of the best hotels in the country. Family owned, incredibly high standards, staff who love their jobs.

Awesome!

Breakfast and kickback food was great! Free soda machine as well which everyone loved. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Downside was no room amenities- no lotion etc.

Check in was odd. Desk person loud and did not offer info. Just kept asking questions, like ifknew when breakfast was. I said no, and had to ask where it would be served, where elevators were, wifi connection... 😒

Very clean room and super friendly staff. The dinner and breakfast were a great addition to our stay. Great location for your cross country trip.

Staff was great, the complimentary breakfast and dinner + drinks were such a money saving bonus. The location was great with plenty of conveniences around the property. Good gym, good pool!

The place was extremely busy, the only downside was popcorn dropped by people, but didn't pick the droppings. Love the popcorn, but probably needs more supervision on those busy nights.

Clean and quiet room. We were traveling as a family with young kids, the pool was very small-half in door/half outdoor. Hot breakfast with several options.

Everything was great. We had no issues

Elevator was broken lots of people trying to use 1 elevator

Stayed here on our way to MN after a long drive from Texas. Such a nice hotel, room was very clean, bed was extremely comfortable. Location was also great with lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.

The location of this hotel is fantastic. Walking distance to multiple things. The lobby area is large along with the breakfast/kickback area. The thought of the kickback is fantastic but its a small window and both days we were not even there to enjoy. The price of this hotel on a weekend is insane for what you get. The rooms are dated. The beds are so worn they sink in the middle. The elevator has been broken every time we have stayed here. Its clear they dont want to pay to fix what ever the know issue is. This ended up forcing us to use the stairs for everything because the elevator at times would be a 15 min wait. Absolutely nothing was offered to comp the inconvenience of the broken elevator. The kickback is a small window, we missed it both nights.

Drury is always a reliable stay. The bed was so comfy after 10 hours of driving. The staff member who checked us in was speedy and kind. She did great with a MASSIVE group of baseball folks that seamed the place. The food is always great. The elevator was out of order, and there were SO MANY KIDS, but that was completely out of their control.

Good hot breakfast. Friendly staff. Very clean room.

Breakfast was excellent. Good location close to Interstate. Property is very well maintained and clean. Friendly and helpful staff. I have already recommended to several others.
