I loved everything about it Nothing it was great

Overall it was a nice space and staff. Rooms are updated and convenient restaurant. I just had people next to me screening. The staff immediately went to the room. I just wouldn’t do a room with the connected room doors. You hear everything.

Was only there two nights but staff was very friendly and the property was clean

It’s ok - checks the box. Was modern and clean. Did have coffee (good) in the am. Does not have breakfast.

Location was great - lot of great restaurants, shops, theaters are nearby. Checking and checkout were very smooth. Staff was very friendly and warm, especially at the restaurant. Room was clean and amenities were great.

We booked this hotel specifically because it had a hot tub compared to the other two hotels we were looking at. The other two were much cheaper but we wanted a hotel with a nice hot tub that we could relax in. When we checked in they informed us that the hot tub is down and they are waiting for a part so won’t be working during our stay. The whole reason we booked this one was for the hot tub. We told the staff this that did not seem to care at all. The site for this hotel also makes it look like breakfast is included. When we checked in, they told us we didn’t book within a rate that gets us free breakfast…. This was for celebrating my 30th birthday. We had friends come stay and get rooms there too. It ruined the vibe completely as our plan was to hang out around the hot tub and relax together then all get breakfast together in the morning. We did not get to do either of these. We were beyond disappointed. The staff did not seem to care one bit when we expressed disappointment about the hot tub and expressed that breakfast is advertised in the hotel listing.

We had issues with hearing the people next door to.much and they switched us room and it was an easy and they were very helpful. The atmosphere is good at the hotel.

Friendly staff and great location. Walkable to many places. Wish the bar area would remain open later. We've never seen a hotel bar close at 10 pm!

This was the first time I stayed at The Rewind, I usually stay at the Drury Inn when I’m in town. I wanted to try a new place but this will be the last time I stay there. The bed was very uncomfortable. The black out blind would not close and I was in a corner room so the outside light came through the room all night. The air clicked on and off all night and it was extremely loud. Not a good experience.

The hotel itself has such a fun, unique aesthetic. The artwork throughout the property is amazing and really adds to the overall vibe, with colorful retro-inspired murals and eye-catching vintage-themed pieces that make every hallway feel interesting. One of my favorite features was the photo booth in the lobby—you can take pictures and have them instantly sent to your phone by text, which was such a cool touch. From the atmosphere to the convenience and overall experience, everything exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Des Moines!

Overall our stay - Was ok. We didn’t have anyone come take out our trash. Breakfast is not free - you will need to pay for it. Which I didn’t see on the booking site. I just saw breakfast included but not free. Not alot of staff

Great stay! The on site restaurant was wonderful for dinner and breakfast the next morning!
