Girls weekend in Wes Des Moines. We enjoyed our stay very much. Roomy suite, very clean and nice to have kitchenette. Quiet property! Breakfast was hot and well stocked. We will be back next year.

The general manager Allie of the hotel canceled my stay 3 days before check in because they overbooked. She was very nonchalant. The breakfast was horrible so I didn’t eat any of it. The pool and fitness center were small. I would not recommend this hotel.

Sheets had stains, mold stains around tub. Staff not helpful with very loud guests jumping nonstop above us. Staff wouldn’t even print us a receipt because of using this APP. I’ve used this app for countless stays and have always gotten a receipt. Worst Hilton I’ve ever been to.

All computer systems were down. One employee which is ridiculous since it was a very busy weekend in Des Moines and a Friday night. Tomas was that guy and he did an excellent job under significant pressure. Give him a raise and some time off paid.

After "no room at the inn" at another hotel, Homewood Suites was exactly what we needed. It was very late; the GM on duty was very helpful and understanding. The room was clean. Everyone slept well. Would definitely stay again.

Thomas was very accommodating when checking in. The hotel had been completely full & staff were still cleaning rooms after 3 pm check in time. He apologized to us & gave our group water for our troubles. He advised he would stay on top of it & within 15-20 minutes we were in our room. Our only complaint was the kitchen floor was sticky, but could have been what they mopped with. Otherwise we had no issues with the room for our group. Breakfast was also very good & there were plenty of options. I would stay there again.

A secondary hotel was booked, but this one did not have enough beds for the amount of travelers in our party. Staff at the hotel was unsure how to handle the situation throughout and did not re-book a suitable hotel for us. Ultimately, we had to book a hotel on our own, at a higher cost, and after spending hours trying to resolve the issue. We missed restaurant reservations, paid more for a replacement room, and did not get a complimentary breakfast causing us to pay even more for our overall stay. It was awful overall.

Waited 5-10 minutes for front desk staff to appear for check in. Was told they overbooked the hotel and sold our room to another guest. Was eventually able to get a room at this hotel but had to wait until 9pm and it wasn’t the same kind of room that I originally booked.
