Courtyard Des Moines West/Jordan Creek

I had a great stay at the Courtyard by Marriott near Jordan Creek in West Des Moines. The hotel was very nice, clean, and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I also really enjoyed the restaurant next door—very convenient and a great addition to the location. Overall, a very good experience and I would definitely stay here again.

The staff was awesome and rooms were clean. Someone was available for all needs. Awesome job.

TV didn't work in my room. We asked for it to be fixed and no one came. Wanted to relax at the end off the day. Also kids running up down hallways & elevators no parental supervision. Was loud at night.

The hotel reeks like sewage!

The most notable part of our stay was how helpful and welcoming the staff was.

I was disappointed in the room that cost way too much!! The TV was SMALL and hard to see from the one bed. The bath tub water was a very small stream, after 20 minutes only had 2 inches of water to bathe in. You had to be careful in the tub no slip strips. The room was OVER priced

This is a great place to stay. It is within walking distance to restaurants, shopping and entertainment.

Just the nicest staff I have encountered at a hotel. We were attending the AAU Jr Olympics and stayed at the Courtyard. Despite not having a rental car, there were plenty of activities, shops and restaurants within walking distance. Staff was so helpful and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Would stay again.

We thought the advertisement about the breakfast was a bit misleading. We would have chosen a place where the breakfast was part of the price.

They over sold the hotel and it was a fiasco getting refunded. They tried calling other hotels they said but no luck. Who knows if they really did. Expedia refunded me and said they had a confirmed room at a neighboring hotel that apparently didnt have any availability according to the hotel person who said they called all the near by hotels

The room was smaller than advertised in pictures. The room had an ant infestation. The bathroom door handle was broken. Hotel staff said they'd fix it and they did not. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool was enjoyable.
