Fine hostel, credits to the staff.

A wonderful place to live and relax. Clean and comfortable. The location is superb – all amenities are nearby: markets, pharmacies, etc. The center is just steps away, and the cascade offers a wonderful view of the city. Thank you!

The owners went out of their way to help me! Great location near Ararat Viewpoint, Mother Armenia Monument and the Cascades. Good grocery store nearby. Excellent value. Bathroom odor

No ac or fan in the rooms — absolutely hot inside. Bathrooms dirty and not well maintained. People don’t respect quiet hours and are very noisy.

Fantastic staff: they are ready to accomodate all reasonable wishes, including untypical. A good place to experience the famous Armenian hospitality. Well-equipped site: the people working here know what a traveller may need. Great value for money. Localization: not very central (one bus stop from the Cascade, but from the top part of it), but still convenient. Drains of the hostel: first my girlfriend saw in the bathroom was... a scorpion (no joke, we have even a photo!) creeping out of a sink. This is rather not a fault of the hosts but Yerevan municipality (the brave staff caught this venomous creature and threw away) and definitely not an everyday situation, but it still can affect you. Noisy exhaust fans: if somebody who arrives later in the night wants to take shower in the room next to you, you hear really loud sounds. Glass part of an entry doors: you can't shut down the light from the common zone.

The hostel is located about 10 minutes on foot from the Yerevan cascade, other interesting city landmarks are also not that far. The host is a lovely lady that tries her best to make you comfortable. Her english is limited, but she tries her best, but she has a son that speaks it well. Being a hostel that means that the kitchen is shared with other inhabitents. A lot of the times it was very dirty and dishes were left unwashed. I know that this is not something the host can really control, but once in a while she comes to clean the mess, to which ai give kudos to. I was also not sarisfied with the tours that they offer. The guide is her husband and he only speaks russian and armenian, so with my limited russian it was hard to communicate with him. He took us to Garni, Geghard and Khor Virap and for the most of the trio he was silent and looked uninterested. The price he offered to us was also pretty steep.

Nothing The family room didn't match the description. The common room/kitchen that was supposed to be at our disposal along with own bedroom and bathroom turned out to be shared with other hostel guests. The kitchen facilities were not clean. Fridge always full of other people's food since it looked like most of them live their permanently. Our bathroom was dirty, the garbage was left from previous stay and the floor covered in hair. There's no sound isolation and since the family room is adjacent to the shared bathroom and to the shared kitchen, one hear every sound both from the shared kitchen and from the shared bathroom. There was no TV. No receptionist present at any point. Very uncomfortable beds. We checked out two nights earlier, they didn't seem to be bothered about our complaints and refused to refund the money.

Comfortable mattress and pillow. The washing machine is available. Close to grocery shops and cafes. Side street, therefore, no street noise and exhaust fumes. The whole area is nice. Short walk to the city centre if you find out the way there. Noise inside the hostel. The water pump can drive one's mad. It runs very noisy as soon as someone runs water. Some guests cook in the middle of the night. The dormitories bathroom and toilet are right next to the suite door, and the door itself is thin and with glass. You hear the noise, and it's getting bright in the room because someone turns light in the common room.
