It’s spooky and quirky lovely room Comfy bed and bedding , though the quilt was too hot in a heatwave . The M&S lorry coming at 3.30am and leaving engine running till gone 4am waiting for staff , it was so hot in the room the window needed to be open , the fan did nothing as wasn’t powerful , the lorry comes at same time every morning , either provide ear plugs or can landlord tell them to switch engine off .

Everything lovely! Staying in the Lady Peckett room left us both feeling drunk due to the slanted nature of the building, but the atmosphere made up for that. Staff were very helpful and accomodating, really great stay. Location was perfect, right at the bottom of the shambles. Nothing!

Location. Friendly BAR staff. Not management. Too hot. Cramped stuffy. Window sis not open. Did not stay as it was horrible.

The room was equip with everything you could desire including water, biscuits and other little touches that made this a spectacular property.

Very central location, excellent food at a good price and a great local atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Hate to even mention it because it's probably no fault of the pub but there was a smell of sewage in the bathroom on the morning, I put it down to being an old building and quite a hot day. It didn't bother us much but I feel it might bother others.

Ordered small traditional breakfasts. Had tea toast fruit juice. Freshly made, just enough. Golden Fleece couldn't be in a better location tbh. Hope to return.

Awesome location. Awesome property. Really nice people on staff. Great breakfast we enjoyed the atmosphere of the hotel, but we thought the bar closed at 11pm. it stayed noisy past our 11 pm bedtime since we were tired from traveling.
