Location was really good, an excellent place to stay for seeing York. The bed was very comfy and the shower was nice. The bathroom was a decent size. The room/ overall property was a little worn and could have used a proper clean. Some bits like the corners and the windows were dirty when we arrived. There are clubs/bars nearby which are noisy but with the windows closed it wasn't bad and they do close not too late.

Comfortable room with good amenities, shower/bathroom was very spacious. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Best price within walking distance of the city centre. Noticed some cracked tiles in the bathroom and other blemishes. The duvet seemed to be torn at the bottom.

Location is really good and staff is really friendly The room needs some serious TLC, quality wise it is just above a hostel since the rooms are private with an en suit. Pillows were very hard as was the bed, and due to the location there was quite a bit of noise outside.

It was conveniently located from St Georges field carpark where I parked and getting into the city centre. The smell of mould as I entered the room, the absolutely filthy window which looked out onto a brick shaft covered in pigeon poo, as well as very ill looking pigeons. There were (makeup) stains on the towels as well as the duvet cover. The toilet seat was disgusting, despite the bowl having cleaner in it. The shower was partially off the wall. The tea/coffee tray was fine but there were crumbs on the table and rubbish on the floor. Rubbish behind the bin in the bathroom too.

-
Location Dirty, unkept, overpriced, no toilet seat, bed was stained and like lying on a plank of wood with springs. Complaining as for £170 I have been completely robbed.

The bed was really comfy & the bedding was clean & crisp. It's very very tired & a bit battered.

Close to the waterfront and town

Cant beat the location (though it did make the night a little noisy due to local pubs/clubs letting out). Room was spacious and clean. Staff were friendly and courteous Some deep cleaning/fixing could be good but it in no way affected my sleep nor enjoyment of the room
