Candlewood Suites Newport News/Yorktown by IHG

The staff was very polite however,, the room we stayed in was pet friendly in which we were not aware of and when we arrived the smell was horrible and we were told it was because of the carpet cleaning. The carpet was wet our entire four day stay. The sheets were damp so we had to use the hairdryer to dry them ourselves. Light bulb was out in the bathroom and the water pressure in the shower was not conducive for showering. We were in a handicapped accessible room and we did not need that. By the second day the smell of animals reeked through the room. Our stay was not pleasant at all.

Great! Ok, let me give you a little advice. Forcing people to provide a written response vs a check box is a horrible idea and it ruins the ultimate validity of your survey. Please feel free to reach out to me or my company and we can absolutely help Candlewood suites design your surveys so the data is actionable and can be used for continuous improvement. Right now, you are not getting the information you need and it is also highly likely that it’s invalid.
