Pergamos

The smell of stale cigarette is true and is everywhere. As an ex smoker I didn't terribly mind but I can see how that can be very upsetting for some people. The interior decorations are a bit tacky but I personally found them on the vintage side. All in all, for a short stay it was perfect. And the receptionist helpful. But if you are on a long / romantic vacation, you can do better than this.

The room was not soundproof. I could hear everything from the other doors. The bed was uncomfortable. The smoke came to the room from outside. The bathroom was so small. The wifi was also very weak especially when someone else used it also. Possible dead bug spots on the walls all over.The district is full of drug users and homeless people. I felt not really safe. I don't recommend it all.

Great value for price! Not a fancy hotel but very very friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. The location was practical because we were interested in the Exarcheia area and it was close to the location. For such a cheap price me and my friend were pleased to have a reliable and clean accommodation and everyone in the staff was super nice. We also loved the cat who lives downstairs in the hotel. It was also easy to travel there by bus from the airport. I might come to the same hotel again when I'll be travelling to Athens! There was also a huge balcony, so when it's warm and sunny that will be handy. Someone was maybe smoking in their hotel room, because we smelled a bit of cigarette smoke. The smell wasn't strong, but maybe if someone in really sensitive to the odour they might want to consider. People travelling with their fancy pants on probably know that they should book something more expensive :)

Quiet room with patio and AC, staff always available , ok walk to subway and national archeological museum not far, nice breakfast lace not too far of a walk Area outside hotel somewhat sketchy I would not have stayed alone and people (taxi driver/ waiter) recommended we not walk outside at night but we never had a problem (2 women never walked solo)

It really was great value for money. It was clean and confortable with great staff. Whilst the hotel was simple it really did meet all of our needs with 24 hour reception. It is a really great place for the budget traveller who wants to make their money go as far as it can. It was simple and that was its strength. There was nothing that I did not like. Had we wanted all of the five star hotel facilities we could have booked into a five star hotel and paid a five star price leaving little money for anything else.

The staff were very helpful and gave great recommendations. The affordable price was the main attraction here. The accommodations were very small but that was to be expected. Despite being a nom-smoking room the whole building smelled of cigarettes.

The neighbourhood is a bit dirty and run down. Open air drug use at all times of day, though we felt completely safe anytime before 11pm. The room smelled of stale cigarette smoke and the shower is designed poorly so it flooded the bathroom floor.

Brilliant place for short-term staying ? ? Unfortunately, this area of Athens was full of drug addict and rubbish, but anyway, near the city centre and facilities.

Close to the centre but not the nicest area of it. The bedsheet had two cigarette burns and a stain. The air condition was too strong for this room and it was either too cold when on or too hot when off. The massive pillows were dirty and very uncomfortable.
