Property was top notch from restaurants on property, staff, room to pool. Felt like we were living in luxury. Enjoyed the buffet for breakfast but had to pay out of pocket for it as we didn’t book directly through SLS. You can tell the area is being revitalized so not a lot of choices for off site restaurants within walking distance. Would’ve enjoyed more options.

There is problem with the water in bathroom.. all time it’s hot you can’t control it

A little far from the city center, no infrastructure nearby. The lobby bar closes at midnight, which is strange. Usually lobbies operate 24/7

The breakfast

Room, pool, lobby, breakfast. Room was awesome, pool had a DJ was perfectly cool, but you couldn’t get a chair. Staff, though friendly never actually came to serve you, you had to go to them to get what you needed then they would deliver it. My club sandwich took 35 minutes but was delicious. Check in check out (long wait), training of staff at pool needed for efficiency and kitchen needs to be faster.

Next to the beach. Easily accessible. Great gym. Very modern and fresh. Things that glow in the dark when trying to sleep, different buttons, signs and an automated light that turns on when you move at night disturbing the beauty sleep. Poor alternatives for people With allergies in the restaurant.

The check-in and checkout process was a bit slow.

I hope this matter can be resolved as soon as possible, otherwise I will escalate the issue further.

Location and that it is new

The food in the hotel'a restaurant is very gold as well, albeit a little price for what it is. Upon arrival we noticed that we had no shampoo, or soap in the room dispensers. I'd imagine that in such a hotel this would be thoroughly checked before the checkin. There aren't really great options to eat during the day besides breakfest and dinner. I'd appreciate for yhe hotel go work on lunch menu's.

It’s in a Sketchy area . Right next door to a waste burning plant .

We were really feeling that we made a mistake and we’re really feeling down on the property until we met Daniella, Clara, and Adri in the evening for dinner. When I say all three are superstars, all three are superstars and saved our trip. The manager Daniella is a tremendous leader and example to the evening team. Clara turned around a difficult situation with me and Audrey was an over the top great Server. But the entire team works seamlessly with teamwork and helping each other out during the busy peak time that it was quite a symphony Orchestra to watch. The drinks and the food were all great especially the pork dish and bread and dips. I would also like to commend Julien and the entire concierge, Front Desk and Bellman team. It just seemed to be the little things that added up. Going down to get a cup of coffee and a croissant to go seems easy until you try to do it. The lobby coffee shop does not open until 8 AM. The restaurant that’s open does not allow you to take a couple croissants to go. When trying to have lunch out by the pool, the server told us they were not taking orders for the next 15 to 20 minutes because the kitchen needed a break and to catch up, but it really was not that busy. Also, the bar service seemed painfully slow. Daytime managers were either non-existent or lurked in the shadows not to be seen. The room had engineering issues. The frame of my room door from the inside was poorly constructed and falling apart that holds onto the latch that locks the door as an additional measure. The frame is held on by some type of epoxy putty and not nails. It’s laughable that that would be the construction. The lighting especially the vanity, is very low and poor and is very confusing as well. Room 552

The pool was fab No bell staff upon arrival. Asked concierge to book us a car for several hours - never got a follow up. No help up to room or at check out. Had to ask for a robe for 2 days.

Nice and comfy room. They even upgraded us to a better room with a sea view :) Treated us with a warm welcome and very nice staff.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is beautiful, the location is great, and the overall atmosphere was very relaxing. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the facilities were well maintained. The only downside was the breakfast — it was the same every day, which became a bit boring over time. More variety would make the experience much better.

Room was spacious, hotel is new, neat and clean. The breakfast buffet was unsurpassed. Many, many choices, beautiful space, excellent food. The staff was pleasant, polite and helpful. Whatever we wanted, they provided. View of the ocean from the balcony. It’s not accessible to restaurants in the area other than by taxi.
