Fairfield by Marriott Rochester Henrietta/University Area

They let us check in early and check out late when we had an emergency. The place was close to a lot of shopping, food and the schools that made us visit (RIT, University of Rochester). I would highly recommend staying here and will stay there whenever I visit.

This is an excellent hotel for overnight stay between flights. The breakfast was incredible! There are lots of other restaurants,supermarkets in a walking distance as well.

The complimentary breakfast has a lady attendant there all the while we were in the dining area ensuring the offerings were plentiful, that's quite unusual and we appreciated the great service from this facility.

Elevator smelled and had a bug on the floor. Room clean.

Terrible hitting you up for a $20 charge to your credit card. No way to get a receipt for your stay. Have to wait to see if we get refunded the $20. Seems like the property is in financial trouble. No card for the manager. Who actually owns this property?

The overall cleanliness of the rooms were not good. Upon arrival there was a dirty soiled diaper in the trash and hair in the shower … it appears someone had been smoking in the room prior to my arrival. The smoke detector was covered in black tape.

Pretty run down for a Fairfield Inn. The beds were so uncomfortable. The breakfast was small and not great. Coffee gross. Wouldn’t go back.
