Galata Inn Hotel

There wasn't a breakfast option. The location is very good. This is the only good thing about this place. The room was much smaller than it was written in Booking.com. The bathroom smells terrible from the drain. The sink was clogged The towels are worn out and look unhygienic. The room wasn't enough clean. There is no insulation and you can hear everything from the neighboring rooms.

Location and staff Room 101 had a very bad smell from the bathroom, its view of a very unpleasant street was unsightly, and it was smaller than required.

The host were so helpful. I called them from the cab from the airport and they even walked over to where the taxi's drop off so we would find the place easy. They even took our bags up to the room on the 2nd floor which was very nice. Nice room and I loved that it was on the main street with all the restaraunts and bars. Keep in mind that it is on the very busy street so if you need absolue quiet room I would look elsewhere but it was great for us and we slept well!! Also this room is close to the Metro and just a few blocks from the Ferry Port. GREAT LOCATION

Every thing was good but it needs sun shades

Location Room was too small, bathroom was smelly and not clean at all and had a broken shower head, the "view"ftom the window was another attached building.

There are a lot of cafes right next door where you can eat. The room was clean and big enough for one person. Everything you need for a 1-2 night stay. The staff was super helpful and welcoming. There is no reception actually, it's just the rooms above the shop. I didn't expect that, and this information was not visible in the 'hotel' description. The area is quite noisy, with many restaurants and discos, so the music was loud by 2-3 am. There is no elevator in the building.

The owner is very accommodating and helpful. We stayed in a non smoking room. It was quiet, although it has a lot of stores and restaurants nearby.

Check in procedures can be improved- there is no reception. The owner of the hotel did the check in at the shop next to the hotel. At the beginning, it felt unusual. But then, he made sure to explain the concept of the hotel. He was very friendly and helpful and made sure our stay was exceptional.
