Location good. A short walk to train station, shopping and food. Breakfast good but little variety in the sister hotel Kabin Kyoto. A little difficult for older folks to get around. We added on 2 days but they did not keep us in the same room. While we were out exploring, the staff moved all our belongings into a different room. This was disconcerting. Nothing was left behind but process needs to be clearer for adding days. We were told the room we were in was available before we added the days. Apparently the room type was different but there was no way of knowing this.

Everything The only downside was the room size - but still, typical for this kind of accommodation in Japan :)

I loved the modern twist to a hotel experience. Check in and out was easy via their app. Love that we didn’t need to carry a key. The staff is also very helpful and welcoming. The room was cozy and the shower pressure was exceptional. Na

This hotel was so perfect for us. It was a larger room, had comfortable beds and pillows with a great shower. The staff was so nice and helpful. We had a place to store luggage before we could check in. The location is quiet and a 15 minute walk to the Ginza neighborhood.

You need to go to a different hotel to receive and send your luggage the other hotel is not able to send luggage to a lot of places mainly Tokyo and Osaka, I wish there would have been more Than one washing machine, there wasn’t a safe in the room

It was very central with great restaurants around and easy access to the shopping center and the food market. The front desk wasn’t always available. Our room was only cleaned once and the trash taken out once. It was a little underwhelming. I had to get one of my own trash bags out that I brought to use in the room.

Room has a window that cannot open. Sunlight is good. Nice bathroom equipment and shampoo. Beautiful room. The bed and pillows are comfortable to sleep on, but the mattress has already sunk/dipped. Can’t watch Netflix. The TV position is really poorly placed. The drawer is broken and opens by itself automatically. The desk space is too small. There aren’t enough hangers. The exhaust fan filter is dirty, same as other hotels.

It was good value for money and a great location.

Location isn't the best, especially in sub-optimal weather (such as rain). It is a short walk to the closest stations and main strip. If weather and time were not a factor it wouldn't be as bad. Good place just as a place to base yourself (sleep). Not much else to like. Nothing but nothing too much to rave about either.

Loved our stay here! Super convenient location in a quiet neighborhood but with good restaurant options and really close to busier areas. Little dining room with microwave on the first floor and staff was helpful

The location of the hotel was amazing

Excellent quality, location and value for the price. Smaller side street perfectly located with small shops and choices of dining. Close to several travel hubs. Easy walk to hotel from subway. Small room with all the necessities and very quiet. Nice small lounge with filtered water available. Bathroom included bathtub. Bed very comfortable; good lighting options. Exceptionally clean. Staff helpful. What more could you need?

Each of the Kabin crew members that I was assisted by were amazingly helpful!!! This hotel and Kabin Kyoto ( shout out to Nicolas, thank you !!! ) had such lovely crew members !…very helpful, easy to work with and totally willing to help make the stay welcoming and comfortable. Really appreciated that !!…area is also great. For me personally, there’s way too much scented / perfumed elements inside the hotel. It was allergy overload for me, on top of there also being a musty smell coming from the air vents that made the air quality double difficult for me. Unfortunately, this drastically cut my stay short. But the crew members were totally amazing!!! Truly, thank you all who assisted me.

Everything was fantastic. The room layout was 1 of 2 in the king size bed photos, ours had the small couch. This was by far the superior layout in our opinion. The couch was great for helping organize things. Nothing :) it was great.
