Location in centre of Bayswater is main thing going for this hotel, easy access Bus 94 into city, trains at corner. Very old hotel and bit of a firetrap, slowest lift in UK ! poor water pressure and tiny bathroom, renovated rooms are basic

Good service, clean rooms, and very good staff. No

The room and facilities were old. I stayed at a room in the basement and it wasn’t good.
-
Excellent location The water pressure in the shower was very weak and no solution was made due to the need of major maintenance to the whole floor rooms, however the staff shifted our room to solve that problem thanks to their efforts off course. Other problem we faced that the curtains of the rooms are not isolating the sun light from getting in the room and it made our stay not comfortable.

Very friendly and helpful staff! A certain staff member went above and beyond to makes us feel comfortable:)The room was exactly as expected with a nice shower and comfy beds. 1 min walk to Bayswater station so it was super easy to get the metro! The building looks nice from the outside but inside the floors creak and with very old gross looking carpet in the hall ways, elevator was tiny, fit for 2 people only. Although we managed the 3 of us since we didn't have any luggage!

The sparkling cleanliness and the lovely staff, especially the night guy, made staying here an absolute dream. And the location was an absolute dream. Fabulous value for money ... I LOVED it!!! I'll be back. It was perfect!

Staff were fantastic and friendly.

The room was cozy, nice and very well kept, with towels changed daily and the room/bathroom properly cleaned. Everything worked correctly with no complaints on our part. The hotel's staff is nice and the reception desk is always properly manned. Location is simply amazing, with Baywater station literally down the block and Queensway just a short walk away. The centralized heater in the bathroom made it incredibly hot. This isn't really something I feel reasonable to complain about, since it's London and usually a heated bathroom would be a plus. We were simply there in an exceptionally hot week. Breakfast is in Malaysian restaurant, with many options for ethnic cuisine but few continental alternatives. Being an ethnic restaurant, the smell is also pretty strong. I would recommend not getting a breakfast package if you're not used to that or don't appreciate it. I didn't really mind it but it was a bit too much for my partner -- there were plenty of people enjoying it.

Upon arrival we were asked for a £50 deposit for room damage. This has not been returned to me and despite repeated attempts via phone and email the issue remains unresolved

Location, kindness of all staff. Shower floors are a bit slippery. The elevator was tiny! There was no air conditioning, and it was very hot in London during our stay. However, the staff was quite helpful in finding fans, and I believe air conditioning is coming.

The shower was so small you could not effectively use it.

Wasn’t informed prior to arrival of current remodel in progress. Needs remodeling. No refrigerator in room.
-
Location near Hyde Park and two Underground lines. Friendly staff members. Broken elevator (lift). Worn out room. Extremely uncomfortable bed. Lots of noise.
-
Location, comfortable bed, amazing restaurant reception staff, damp in bedroom, stains on carpet, hurt foot on raised corner tile under toilet (dangerous). Upgrade to room 22 for my partners 60th birthday (was expecting a better room)

bed very uncomfortable
