The Hyde Hotel

There's no lift. We were given a room on top floor (6th floor)..the room had no thermostat working, had no lock on it's bathroom door, had no exhaust in its bathroom..the window was broken and there was a pigeon in our room when we arrived after sightseeing at night back to our room

At first we were booked to the hotel that was in renovation, but we spoke to the manager and they changed us for a different hotel, just 1 street difference, and it was perfect. The staff was super helpful and friendly and helped us with everything. The location it’s really good, with metro station and bus stops near by, you can get anywhere in London e a few minutes. The only two things we noticed that could be better was the cleaning that was a 80/100 and the TB didn’t work in the room we’ve been. Besides that, everything was perfect. They cleaned our rooms daily and made our beds perfectly.

From the first night, we found a bedbug in the bed and the response was that nothing could be done to resolve it. I would not recommend it under any circumstances.

Nothing I recently stayed at this hotel, and it was honestly one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that cleanliness was not a priority. The room was very dirty, with visible grime and an overall neglected feel that made it uncomfortable to even settle in. The decor was equally disappointing—poorly done and outdated, giving the entire place a run-down atmosphere rather than anything remotely welcoming. Basic amenities were either broken or missing altogether. The shower, for example, didn’t even have a proper stand as it had snapped off, making it awkward and frustrating to use. To make matters worse, we were not provided with essentials like towels or pillows, which is simply unacceptable for any hotel stay. Having to chase up such basic items completely ruined any chance of a relaxing visit. Overall, this hotel fell far below even the most basic standards. I would not recommend staying here to anyone.

Great location, easy to find, great customer service, loads of little shops nearby to look in and get bits from.

Very helpful staff, felt very safe. The neighbourhood and location is great. Would recommend and book again! The walls are thin and you can hear other guests.

close to train station, the receptionist very friendly and helpful I would like to raise a concern regarding housekeeping entering my room without knocking at 9am and before our check-out time which stated at 11am. This was quite uncomfortable, and luckily I was not undressed at the time. My husband went out to request that staff to please knock and confirm before entering guests’ rooms in the future for clients privacy

Absolutely Filthy, I have thrown cleaner mattresses away, slept on top of the quilt Lucky I was only there for 6 hours between jobs would sooner sleep in my van than stay here ever again

The room although small was warm and bedclothes was clean Unable to lock window No shampoo or kettle in room but was given when asked for Bed mattress uncomfortable and could do with replacing
