Grand Royale Hyde Park

The staff at the hotel treat guests with incredible.cordiall efficiency. It is a pleasure to stop at the front desk. The history of the building and the elegant appointment of the downstairs make it a pleasure to walk through the lobby or. Wait to meet a friend. I have stayed at the Grand Royal several times and very much look forward to my next visit.

The proximity to subway and Hyde Park. The beautiful hotel and breakfast. The only thing would be to have more comfortable pillows.

The location is ideal. The room are small but stayed in smaller rooms in London. Breakfast had everything you need. The building has character and loved it. I went on stairs everyday just to enjoy the building. The carpet in the room.

Very nice breakfast, stunning reception. Location was excellent. The room was a little dated and needed some work doing on it. But was clean and fine for the reasons in which i was staying.

I liked the location- good access to public transport, close to Hyde Park. I got a room in the lower ground floor without day light. One could hear the noise of the London underground which made it difficult to sleep. Also very old interior.

location was good The room was described as Deluxe Double There was no room to open suitcases and the fittings were extremely poor, sheets did not fit on the bed, wardrobe not fixed to wall & too small to hang anything. towel rail not fixed, carpet not fitted properly leaving dangerous sharp edges, curtain did not cover window, light fittings on wall loose, dead lock on door not working, shower dripped 24 hours a day, bathroom door did not shut properly. Our opinion was that we would never stay here again and would advise other travelers to strongly check everything before committing to stay

Grand entrance and stairway, beautiful vibe. Really good location and nice breakfast.

Location is superb for the tube and to visit all sites in London Only slight niggle was the shower was extremely hot when only slightly turned up as well as the shower head having to be held in your hand as the holder swivelled when water went through

It is close to several underground stations and Hyde Park Room had about 6 stairs to go down. The staff very overworked. They were polite and friendly but definitely not happy.

Beautiful looking place and in a really good location I would’ve rated top score but the one thing that ruined it was the lady at breakfast. Unsure of her name but a dark haired coloured lady with glasses that was seating people - she was very rude to us and didn’t offer us tea or coffe (she did with everyone else around us) then when we asked for it, she rolled her eyes. Would’ve been happy to have asked someone else but we seemed to have been sat in ‘her area’. My friend I was with asked for tea and she gave her coffee, so we politely asked for a tea and she again rolled her eyes and didn’t bring a tea cup or anything, my friend had to walk to another staff member round the other side to get one. Other than this, everyone else was lovely - staff on reception yesterday morning (14th) around 10am were really lovely!

Fabulous Hotel. Only minus is that the superior deluxe is a bit small. But I loved everything else and would stay there again. Staff was v friendly and breakfast was amazing! Bedroom quite small
