Great location. Good choice at breakfast - cereal, toast, fruit, yogurt. Helpful staff. Good value. There’s nothing not to like. Yes the rooms are small but you know that when you book.

Great location near the Paddington Station Very tiny and dated restroom in the 3-bed room. No help from staff getting a large suitcase to the walk-up room. Staff was doing their job but would feel more welcomed with even a friendly greeting.

This area is full of small hotels converted from old apartments. Good for the price, near Paddington, clean. Breakfast is rich enough (missing bananas or apples), staff are helpful. Good restaurants nearby. Breakfast was a bit too late, and both the room / bathroom could be a tad bigger

Nice location. Very pretty area. Connie the owner/manager was extremely helpful and friendly when we had a bit of a problem with one of her staff. Breakfast was delicious. Nothing hot but still more then enough to eat. Very clean . The one young lady who worked there one morning was very rude and nasty. Things were solved though.

Location is not that far from the Paddington Station. Receptionist- the woman that is sitting at the front counter when you checked in and having breakfast is very unfriendly, miserable and overall shouldn’t be the kind of employee you would want to put at that desk. She hated that job and was the worst person I have dealt with when in any hotel. No elevator- we have two young kids 5,7 and have luggages since we have flown in internationally. They gave us the room that is at the very top floor. The stairs are old and narrow. My 5 years old fell off steps as it gets narrower as you go higher floor. Shower - the shower is broken. It wouldn’t stay up so end up holding it up the whole time using the shower.

Location, proximity to Paddington station, lower price vs peers Very narrow and packed rooms, impossible to move inside, room cleaning wasn't done properly (if you put something on your bed, they won't make your bed), breakfast consisted of few stuff

Location is great. Hotel was cute. Staff was super helpful and was great at telling us how to get places. Paddington is a cute place with lots of options for shops, restaurants, and literally one block from regular busses and the underground or train. The big bus picks up around corner. Would stay again. The very hard beds. Also a little bit bigger comforter would be great. In the shower in the downstairs room 505, it needs something in shower to hold shampoo and soap. Bending over to pick this up from floor of shower caused me to hit the shower controls and it went scorching hot. My back got a bit red but I am ok. One of those wall dispensers would be ideal for that tiny shower. Water pressure was astounding though. Breakfast was ok...try varying the fruit once in a while or I know some fresh fruit. Maybe do some improvements on that downstairs room. Kinda blah.

The location and staff are great. Rooms are small and get overheated in summer.

It was far away from everything and the room/bathroom was ridiculously small.

Left airpods in room. Called within hours to see if we could come by and pick them up. My daughter could track them and saw that they had been taken. Most likely by cleaning people or staff. Sad.

The location was great! It is very close to Paddington Station and multiple bus stops. It is near several restaurants with various food options. It is within walking distance of Kensington Palace and the Princess Diana Memorial. The people were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a simple continental breakfast, but it was just right. The hotel is in a very old building and it is so neat. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were quiet. The room as well as the public area, were all very clean and fairly well maintained. The room was snug, but unique and added to the experience of being in a very old city. There wasn’t anything I “didn’t like”, just a few things that would make it even better. Since it is in a very old building, there is no elevator for the upper floors. The family room is more suited for a family with smaller children vs. 4 adults, it was a bit tight, especially the bathroom. If the shower head could be on a slide to go up for tall people and lowered for short, that would have been great. Being short, it was hard to not drown while standing under the water because it was hitting me on the top of the head. I also wish there was a space to sit other than in the room, like the breakfast area. Once the front desk has closed if you needed to work or wanted to make a phone call, there is no where to sit, the area is roped off for the next morning’s breakfast, but even one available table would be good. Also, there were not enough outlets in the room. There were no outlets next to the beds that could be used to charge your phone. The only outlets were by the large mirror and “desk” area or the shaver outlet in the bathroom.
