Location is very good. 5 min walk to St Pancras King’s Cross. Staff was friendly. There’s a bunch of little things I didn’t like: no bedside lamp, just the main overhead one. No switches within reach from the bed as well. Had to go to reception to borrow a hair dryer, no conditioner amongst the toiletries, just shampoo and a bar of soap. The floors and walls were very dingy and in desperate need of repairs. The shower was a nightmare. First of all: it had a curtain which I don’t think gets cleaned regularly. Secondly: it was installed on such a way it would spray directly onto the wall opposite meaning you had to get quite intimate with it, to ‘enjoy’ a handsfree shower experience.

The Location, only 5 minutes walk from Kings Cross Station was the reason I chose to return to stay at Elmwood. The staff were friendly. It is also close to the Bloomsbury/Brunswick Area which are lovely and interesting to walk around in the evening and very peaceful considering the proximity to Kings Cross. The room was small and simply furnished but comfortable for a quick overnight before getting the train the following morning and the outlook on the square was nice. The shower room was clean and shower good. For an overnight stay it met my basic requirements.

This property is close to Kings Cross/St Pancras station which suited my needs. I left my bag early and spent the day in London. Staff delivered my bag to my room once I checked in. Nothing

The location was perfect, we were a 5 min walk from King’s Cross. The staff were really friendly. Reasonably priced for 2 nights in London. The room was very small, and a lot of the plug sockets didn’t work.

It’s a great price, and easy to get to. Very handy for early / late and convenient travel. The room was a bit hot. It was quite small too.
