A beautiful hotel in the best location being close to the hustle and bustle but not in it. We had a junior suite which was very comfortable. Staff were superb especially the door staff and concierge. There is a gratuity charge on the nightly room rate. This totalled 123 pounds for 3 nights in our case. I was never told about this and only was because I questioned it on check out. I was then told it was voluntary. I felt the way this is handled by the hotel was very deceitful bordering on fraudulent as it was clear they would only disclose the charge if challenged.
