I booked this hotel even though usually I never book hotels under 8 point rating. I took at chance as I knew the area well. The lobby renovations were are finished and it lobby looks very trendy. The breakfast area was also finished. It was very pricy so never ate there. Our room was on the first floor at the back of the building. The room was renovated and always very clean. the beds were comfortable. It had a kettle, coffee, milk and a small fridge( food like milk cannot be stored as not cold enough). It also came with an excellent and powerful hairdryer which was really a big plus for my daughter and I who have very long hair. The staff was friendly. The area is safe and close to the tube and Paddington Station. You can places to eat nearby. I recommend the Elvis Bistro for great and affordable breakfast( 5 minutes away). We were 3 in the room and it was very confortable and enjoyable stay. It was all ok

The hotel overall was nice and in a nice location. Lack of storage space (drawers and shelves) in the bedroom and bathroom.

The location was excellent — very central and close to several metro stations. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. The rooms felt quite dated and were very small. We stayed in a twin room, and it was quite uncomfortable for two people due to the limited space. The window in our room also couldn’t be opened, which made the room feel stuffy. There was no fridge, and not even complimentary water was provided.

Great room with very nice air conditioning. The street was very quiet and a short walk to the underground. The lounge on the main floor was very comfortable to sit and relax that was outside the hotel room. The room had a consistent loud sound like a tool is running but it stops and then 15 minutes later it repeats. Breakfast was too expensive - 22 pounds, I ended up going out to a local spot. There was not any power outlets next to the beds. All power was located on the wall across from the beds.

The hotel price was very reasonable, and it was in a great location. The lobby had recently been redone and looked great. The beds were also very comfy. As said, the lobby had been recently renovated, but it was clear that the rooms (at least on our floor) had not been. They were nice and clean but could definitely use some updating. Also, the room lacked little things such as hand soap.

Great location and the staff very polite. Bathroom facilities are a bit too old, AC not working properly.

It was nice and handy for links into city in easy reach to Paddington and just across to Hyde Park. Reception staff were helpful and very professional We paid £44.00 for breakfast which left a lot to be desired not much cooked food left scrambled egg and beans were luke warm.
