The hotel is well situated near the tube so easy to get around the city. Room was good with everything you needed for a short break. Staff were also very helpful The only English speaking TV channel was Sky News. Lots of other channels which were not English speaking

Bed comfortable. Bathroom clean and cheerful. Only the aircon in my children's room kept going off and they didn't repair it. Location is great but prices have gone up a lot since I stayed last year. Restaurant service. Asked for ice coffee which they couldn't provide although they had ice and coffee. Didn't make sense.

The air conditioning was excellent and the room was clean, but the rooms are quite small. The hotel is also a little far from shopping areas like Oxford Street and Harrods. there is no porter service to help with luggage.

Location I paid extra for a Deluxe King Room with Garden View, but the room actually overlooked a road and had no garden view. I raised this with the front desk and was told that I would be moved to another room the following day, but this never happened. I had also provided all the required information for the invoice in my booking notes, but was asked for the information again at check-out. For a hotel at this price point, I expected better attention to detail and follow-up.

Staff were helpful after problems woth first 2 rooms. Breakfast tasty Room 1, room bed not made up, no tea coffee facilities and leak dripping through ceiling. Room 2 ..no air con... Room 3 bigger and better facilities but considering we had paid for an upgraded Room supposedly with extras like bottle water etc.. not convinced we were...

Booking.com Review We had a really lovely stay at the Thistle Kensington Gardens and were especially impressed by the warm and helpful service at reception. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and it made our stay feel very comfortable from the moment we arrived. A special thank you to Mohammed, Thomaskutty and Jaden, who were all incredibly helpful and provided excellent service throughout our stay. They were professional, attentive and always happy to assist whenever we had a question or needed anything. The hotel also has a fantastic location directly by Hyde Park, which we found both beautiful and very practical, especially with the excellent public transport connections nearby. Their friendliness and the great location really stood out to us. We would definitely be happy to stay at the Thistle Kensington Gardens again and can highly recommend the hotel!

Staff : very nice Comfortable bed Wake up call 24 hour reception Air conditioning ACTUAL PEOPLE IN RECEPTION ETC NOT JUST ROBOTS The first room I had had a problem with the ceiling, the second one you couldnt have a bath,only a shower ,since the plug didnt go down fully... Really the rooms need to be checked beforehand.
