    Location Everything else! The staff blatantly lied to us more than once. Prior to travel we sent an email to confirm they had air conditioning and the response was yes, what they didn't say is that it doesn't work - no point having an air conditioning system that doesn't work, and an industrial plug in fan is not the correct replacement!!! We were moved 3 times, in the hope that we would get the air conditioning we paid for, NO. All the staff had the same speil and not being upfront and admitting the truth that it just didn't work.

    Nothing Check-in was fine, but unfortunately everything went downhill from there. When we arrived in our room, we noticed the air conditioning wasn’t very strong. We left it running while we went out for a concert in London, expecting the room to be cool when we returned. Instead, we came back to find the room even hotter than it was outside. We tried to sleep but spent about an hour lying in an unbearably hot room before going to reception to report that the air conditioning wasn’t working. A member of staff came to the building, not the room, and said they would reset the panel underneath the unit, assuring us it should start working immediately. It made absolutely no difference. At around 4am, after still being unable to sleep, my partner went back down to reception and we were moved to another room. This room had fully functioning air conditioning and a fan. If the hotel is aware that some rooms become excessively hot, there should be contingencies in place, such as providing fans or ensuring faulty rooms are not sold to guests. To make matters worse, breakfast the following morning was equally disappointing. Although we arrived towards the end of the breakfast service due to the lack of sleep caused by the room issue, we were given the wrong drinks, the food was cold, and the service was poor throughout. When we checked out, we requested a refund or some form of compensation given how unacceptable the stay had been. We were told that the General Manager would contact us by email as soon as possible. I am still waiting to hear from them. We paid £210 for a room that was simply not fit for purpose. The only reason the rate was so high appears to have been surge pricing because Harry Styles was performing nearby. Looking at prices for the following night, the same room would have cost around £83. Even at that lower rate, it would still have been too much to pay for a room where the basic service we paid for, a comfortable night’s sleep, could not be provided.

    The location We stayed at this hotel expecting it to match the photos online, but unfortunately it was a huge disappointment. When we first entered our room, we were immediately met with a swarm of moths. The room was also unbearably hot. I tried turning on the air conditioning, but it wasn’t working, and to make matters worse, the window wouldn’t stay open either. I attempted to contact reception several times, but no one answered. The room phone didn’t even have an option to call reception, so I had to use my mobile phone instead, but still couldn’t get through. We left the room for a few hours and returned later that evening, only to find even more moths flying around. The air conditioning was still not working, the window still wouldn’t open, and the room remained unbearably hot. I eventually went down to reception, where the receptionist insisted that the windows opened without any issues and said he would switch the air conditioning on for our room. I’m not sure why this hadn’t already been done before we checked in. He came back to the room with me and tried to open the window himself, but it still wouldn’t stay open. When I raised the issue of the moths, I was simply told that there was nothing that could be done and that there is “usually a net” on the window. This suggests it’s a known issue, yet no effort had been made to prevent it or resolve it before guests arrived. Overall, this was a very uncomfortable stay. The room was far too hot to sleep in, there were insects everywhere, and it was extremely difficult to get any assistance from reception. This experience was nothing like what was advertised online, and I wouldn’t choose to stay here again

    Location: Great, Staff: Helpful, Cleanliness: Good Things have deteriorated over the period of last few years at this hotel and the prices have increased. I have been staying here regularly and have seen the decline myself. This time my fridge was stinking and had fungus, TV did not have a remote, they did not even refill the glass water bottle on any single day????

    The staff were very friendly. The curtains in our room did not cover the window so the sun shone in from 5am which wasnt great. The double bed was very small and mattress lumpy.

    Room was comfortable, The complimentary bottle of prosecco ( in the room)was very nice, Reception very friendly Couldnt adjust heat in the bedroom, only the bathroom, Toilet paper was very scarce, Did not realise we would be in accommodation across the street from the hotel, Could be issue in cold/wet weather!! Sat in the bar area to have a drink while awaiting on our room to be ready( at 3.30pm!)but couldn't get served, Disappointing,

    more instant coffee in the room would have been nice. i asked reception and they didn't have it. i left my luggage with them for a few hours and it took them a while to find it because of missing labelling.

    Location close to the station Had email 24hrs before our arrival to be told there was a maintenance issue & that a new accommodation would be a 5min walk. When we arrived there was no record of amended booking & we were sent back to the original hotel. We explained that we had a show booked & other activities through the course of the day & would not be able to return until midnight. When he booked in at midnight we were given a room allocated across the street. The room was very small and not to what we’d expected to have had for the money we paid. We complained and a new room was given.

    Location. I have stayed here several times and the location is perfect. My room booking included breakfast but every morning, I was harrassed by the lead waiter in the brkfst room that I had not paid. The room was not made up each day and was never vacuumed during our stay. Coffee was not replaced. The locationi of the room was noisy. With an open window, staff from the hotel frequestly sat outside our wlindow smoking and making our room air quality, terrible. The electrical fixtures in the room were broken and never fixed.
