The location is perfect! Safe and near the metro. Staff was nice and the room was clean but very small. You could tell by the look of the building and furniture that it was a little old but nothing too bad. The towel I had in my room on my first day was terrible, it was thinner than a sheet, I thought it was going to tear apart! They changed it on the second day but still, that towel shouldn’t even be there! I guess for the price I paid, the hotel was nice enough. The towel!!

Nice location and really nice room just as described. It is nice hotel. Matresses were really bad, very uncomfortable, seen others complaining too. Left me with backpain for days. Fridge was just warm not even cold not great.

Other than the location, this 2 night stay I had was a disaster! Where do I begin? I arrived to find out that my room was up about 3 floors and I had a big bag that was not overly heavy (15kgs as I was travelling for over a month) but there was no elevator. So I nearly killed myself to get there. I opened the door to a total space that was no bigger than my bathroom at home and I had booked what they called a deluxe room. It was extremely hot and dry and I couldn’t breathe and after fooling with the AC and trying to let it cool off for an hour….nothing happened. When I went to the front desk to address it they said they would look into it so I went out for at least 2 hours and when I got back it was in the same state - no one went up there to look. While I was downstairs asking for another room where I was told there were none, another couple came in and were told that there reservation was cancelled….which they claimed they never did….which I could easily believe …… the management was lying to them and to me because they did find me another room. When I told them if they couldn’t get me another room I suggested they give me a refund as it was already prepaid and I would go to another hotel up the street, I was told a firm NO, they didn’t want me to find my own solutions (in those exact words). They claimed they would move my bags for me that were never unpacked so I went out again and upon arrival to the new room 2 hours later the bags were never taken up but were in the cloak room. I was told to just take a few things I needed out of my bag for the night because there was no porter to bring my bags up. The next morning I was asked to move rooms to one which was even higher up….thank God there was an elevator to this last room because the porter never took our bags as was promised again….so I had to go down to the cloak room to retrieve them and take them up myself. WHAT A DISASTER!

Location was great. Aircon was brilliant. Staff had a bad attitude, so unfriendly and didn’t want to be bothered. Initially no fridge in room when we arrived and we had to request one although this appeared to be a big issue to staff on reception even after explaining it was required for medication.

Location was excellent. Breakfast was great on the two days we had it. Unfortunately due to early tours we missed another two days of breakfast. Bed was comfortable. When we booked there were facilities available such as a bar, a restaurant and laundry facilities. Unfortunately due to management change on arrival we find out bar is not open, restaurant only open for breakfast and no laundry facilities available. However the email sent advising us of the name change stressed nothing else had changed. Well Thats was incorrect. Be aware that what you think is a small fridge in the is actually a “ cooler” . We reported an issue with the cooler, it was not cool at all. We could not have any drinks or fresh milk in to. However maintenance checked and said nothing wrong with it. Well a cooler has a certain degree it should be at and it was no where near that.

Clean room comfortable beds Location was good easy walk to tube Friendly helpful staff Good breakfast choice Some of the decor was in need of a lick of paint and new carpets.

Location was great. Was kept up all night by the people in the room above us, could hear them talking/moving around.

Lovely hotel in a great area, so close to the underground. Room was a little too small.

Great location, great breakfast and comfortable bed, had air conditioning. A mirror in bedroom would have been handy.

Very Godd Location Even though i booked a single room, the room could have been bigger for the price charged

Great location - just along the street from Paddington station for 7 min. The room was clean, nice and clean towels, friendly staff. I was expecting that the room and bathroom will be small, so this was acceptable for me. There was an air condition, which was great for the hot weather outside. The bed was exceptionally small. It was ok for one person, but we were two. As I was with my daughter, we survived, but for two adults - not a chance. The mattress was compromised at one side.

Great, quiet location but close enough for a 10 minute walk to Paddington Station. Beds were very comfortable and room was spotlessly clean. The hotel is a little bit 'tired' and could maybe do with a make over at some point.

Good location close the Paddington station. The staff were extra unhelpful. We booked a Deluxe Double (Court Wing) room but were first allocated a basement room with no view. We asked to change rooms to the room that we booked which they did, but the aircon in the room was broken which is why there was a pedestal fan in the room. However this was broken also! We spoke to the staff on both the room phone and in person at the desk asking for another fan to be sourced as the room was extremely hot and the windows didn’t open so we could get an air. They didn’t sort whilst we were out and didn’t phone us back when we chased up. There was no effort made to support our request or offer an alternative room. Our room was located across the road up 4 x flights of stairs with no lift access which is worth noting if you have luggage to carry up like we did. Sadly, was not worth what we paid and would not recommend to stay.

Staff very helpful and found us an alternative room We were taken to a room on the opposite side of the hotel, in the basement with no phone signal or Wi-Fi. We feel very unsafe and vulnerable, we couldn’t contact anyone and the reception was unattended. The air conditioner didn’t work - it was very hot. We packed up and went back to the hotel we had booked into and eventually we were offered an alternative room which was fine. In the morning we went down to breakfast which again was in the basement which was very small and very hot. We eventually found the end of the queue which was quoted as at least an hour wait. We didn’t wait and paid £45 at an alternative venue for our breakfast.

The breakfast was good, the hotel is only 10min away from the tube, the receptioniists were polite and ready to help all the time The bed was too small for 2, there was problem with the aircondition and it was too hot in the room.

Centrally located hotel, good buffet breakfast, close to Paddington station (5-7 mins walk away, up very slight hill), close to Hyde Park, walking distance to grocery stores and Chemist (Sainsbury's, Marks & Spencers Food, Boots, etc. - these being within the Paddington station and close late), close to a number of small deli stores and tourist shops also along the main street, room comes with a microwave, kettle and bar fridge, decent sized TVs in room. Smallish rooms (not tiny, but small), basic lobby facilities for people to sit in and wait for room check-in, "fitness centre" listed as being really good - but is essentially a 3m X 3m room with 2 treadmills a bike and a few dumbbells.
