Excellent location accessible to anywhere in London and nearby areas like Cambridge for a day trip The operation is all with Indian foods , sunken smells and over 4/5 Indians and mostly males which not disclosed before. Making we Asians, European women a distinctive minority which is very uncomfortable in the cooking area. Broken windows that cold winds blew in and management just use a tissue to block the holes. Can’t accept and need to wait for second day and I caught cold already. No working table and heater is available when requested and I was advised to use the public study room which only offers 3 spots. I cannot find a space at the public study room and therefore need to find a space outside to complete my working. I booked 7 days and seriously affected my works.

I could sleep in a double room for a very low price. For this price you usually have a 6-8 bed room. Too many stairs.

The location was perfect - Paddington station was only 8 minutes away and the connection to Heathrow was excellent. Staff was friendly. I don't understand how people rate this place as clean. Most surfaces in my room were stained from the sinks to the curtains to the walls. The bathrooms were usually dirty and the shower was gross. Bed was hard but that at least I expected for the price - I just wish it was cleaner. Also my key to the main entrance didn't work and almost got locked out as the reception closes at 9pm. I was lucky another resident let me in. The lack of lifts was also problematic when you're staying at the 4th floor. But don't worry they'll send you an email saying they "suggest you travel light".

The bed and the picture is misleading. I booked a twin bed but I was the 3rd in the room.

This place is perfect! The location is amazing, everything was very clean, the staff were so kind and welcoming, and the bed and room was warm and comfortable. There are bathrooms and showers on each floor so there was never a wait. It was also very quiet and safe. I arrived after 9pm, but the friendly nightman showed me to my room. I always dread hostels because it's so many people and noisy, but this was perfect with just one roommate (who was a lovely young lady). Everyone is so respectful of each other, so I can understand why they live there a long time and become friends. I highly recommend this place, and I will definitely return for a longer time! The only bad thing is that you must walk up stairs. There are no lifts, so you'll get a little exercise. Lol I didn't have a heavy suitcase, so it was totally fine. I'm sure someone would have helped if I did as everyone was so friendly.

Small rooms for a good price I expected more of a hostel style, wish it was clearer that it was more permanent housing

It was my first trip alone and I was looking for a safe, nice and near place. I really found it in the hostel. First of all it’s near to Paddington station in about 7 minutes walking you are there. The receptionist was very friendly explaining the hostel facilities and some practical tips to mobilise. I shared the room with two more girls who lived there and i didn't have any problems. On the other hand, they allow you to leave your luggage before and after check in. In general, I highly recommend the hostel. Some of the showers were unavailable

This was great. I was in a room with 2 beds, and I liked that there were many bathrooms in different areas on each floor as well as multiple kitchens. It never felt crowded because the rooms and facilities were evenly spaced apart. There were multiple problems with the room safes such as batteries not working etc., but not a big deal.

The location There wasn’t towels and couldn’t sleep because one of the permanent renter was in a night shift and arrived at 3 am.
