Well located. It was very hot, the first night we slept without a fan, I had to ask for one at reception, the fan was too small for two people, the floor was dirty, they didn't change the bath towels, they didn't change the bathroom mat, I had to ask the maid for toiletries.

The hotel was well situated for our needs. Very clean and the staff were friendly. The bed was really comfortable and it was nice and quiet. The water pressure on 4th floor wasn’t great. If you’re planning on washing your hair while staying here, but in for a very long shower!!

Disappointing

Beautiful area, easy access - some central places are even in walking distance. Nice places around to eat. For the first night the 3 of us got a very small room in the basement. It did not even resemble the picture we based our reservation on. It had only a tiny window and this window was opening to a closed space. We had no fresh air. We had only hot water in the shower.

Good

Staff friendly and helpful. Good location. Very narrow and claustrophobic. Its too hot in there, why is there no AC in the communal areas/corridors? Also the lamps weren't working in the room, the shower tap was faulty and wouldn't shut, the toilet appeared to be blocked and the hand basin was slow to drain. I was only there for a night so I wasnt gonna bothered to report all these issues. But once again the nice staff made up for it.

The curtains were extremly dusty. I wish the price would be lower.

Location good, room clean, staff helpful
-
The room was clean upon arrival and the staff were helpful and friendly. It's a bit out of the city center, but still in an excellent location with good public transportation links: : quiet and very nice neighborhood. The room was a bit claustrophobic and very humid, especially since it was located on the lower floor (-1) without this being mentioned during the booking. The bathroom drain didn't work properly.

Passable

Beautiful location and building . Perfectly satisfactory. Few dirty and poorly maintained areas in Room 4 . Shower tray had signs of mould around the edge . The front cover of it was peeling off . Floor was not clean around the entrance to bathroom . The radiator looked old . Skirting def needs some cleaning and repainting . Big beautiful sash window also needs some TLC .

Linen was clean. Bed comfortable. Shower room too small. Room too hot. Standard double room booked. It was too small for me on my own. Couples forget it. No air conditioning. I struggled to sleep in heat. This summer and with climate change, this room must have air con. Lots of noise outside hotel all night. Window wide open (see above about heat). Ok room was low priced for London. You get what you pay for.
