Roommate was living there so it felt weird staying in the room

Decent location - quick walk to three tube stations. Queensway/Bayswater 10 mins and Paddington 10 mins. Quiet street. Large bugs in the toilets reminiscent of cockroaches, extremely uncomfortable mattresses (basically a bit of fabric over a wire frame). Reception staff were alright but housekeeping decided to hoover the laminate floor in the room whilst both of us in there were asleep. Unfriendly roommate who complained about my bed being used as he lived there, continuing to say the person who was there the night before me was gay and he was going to stab him... didn't feel safe and left a day early.

The breakfast preparation perfectly fine, milk is fresh every morning it's appetising in the beautiful kitchen, and very quiet as they're many kitchens in the building so the guests are very few every kitchen. Plenty fridges and freezers all new, top stoves and ovens all new and the fitted kitchen cupboards for the guests to use. Each floor has a kitchen fully equipped, toilets and showers. Everyone seems friendly, the stuff too. The management go to extra mile. They is a big, cool and quiet TV room, they is a free laundry and they is a study that you can book at the receipttion when you are having an interview coming and you will be given a sign post says interview in process, well professional and great treatment. The location I booked a single occupancy room and was given a shared room with a guy that had been living there for 5 years!!

Location not bad Staff didn't know how to fix key cards .reception area surrounded by metal barriers. Lots of noise and disturbance. More like a half way house for substance abusers. Worst place ever I've stayed in.

Great location. friendly pubs and restaurants. Nice rooms but needs decoration of the wardrobes. More need to be improved. Facilities, cleanliness, staff time-management(sometimes, no staff at the reception at all during working hours). I felt it was a cold-environment to stay, overall friendliness and staff are very poor. No lifts available for use
