The location next to a great street filled with food stalls and close to attractions such as the graffiti tunnel and London eye made it a great place to stay for proximity. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The showers worked well and the property was pretty well cleaned. The hotel is right next to a railway and in particular our room had an open window right next to the tracks so it was squeaking and squealing late into the night and early into the morning. While they do provide complimentary ear plugs, sometimes that wasn’t enough.

Not enough nice common area when staying out of the dorm room. Around the clock people were sleeping in the dorm room and we did not want to disturb them.

Location Everything

Excellent location, staff is very nice. Is an excellent option for travelers who needs to save money but stay at a perfect location, walking distance from most of London’s iconic places Not much to say, mattress could be better, bathroom is shared with the floor though I luckily never had to wait for it. Is expected for the price

The location was good, 5 minutes from the Big Ben and London eye, right next to Waterloo station but the building is not sounds proof AT ALL The building is not sounds proof and because it’s summer it was HOT in the room so you had to open the windows but couldn’t sleep because of the noise from the trains all night long, also no elevator, I had a room on the last floor so it was awful every time to go up to the room, the shower didn’t work properly, only one shower per floor is not enough, the one on the fourth floor didn’t work at all, the lockers in the room didn’t work probelry and when I asked the staff to help me they didn’t do it willingly

No aircon, the weather was very hot (33 degrees) when we there, very difficult to sleep.

Near to a metro station Room was too small and it’s 14 yard room not 14 mtr. Falsely claimed on booking.com Mattress was hollowed towards middle. Very uncomfortable. Only 1 shower n toilet for 10 guests in 2 rooms on 4th floor. No lift. Super narrow stairs. No Bar Crawl, No activity by hostel. Even no common place.

This was an excellent and convenient location to stay and the mattress was quite comfortable. Staff were friendly and accommodating upon arrival. Hallway decor was updated and inviting, but I felt that could be used in spaces guests actually spend more time in. The communal spaces were somewhat unclean and not to the standard of other hostels I have stayed in. I am not surprised that there were no photos of the toilets advertised on the site. This is not on the hostel at all, but other guests were quite disruptive during my stay in particular. The 26 bed room is worth it for the privacy of the curtains, but it does come at the cost of a higher probability of less conscientious guests

Since there were so many of us in the room we were worried about the thing we left behind. But the staff warned us about that

The location is great a couple of blocks from all the the sightseeing. They offer complementary breakfast which is very complete. The facilities were clean and comfortable. The staff was super helpful and friendly from the girls at the recepción to the cleaning lady, we can’t be more thankful, thanks for such a pleasant stay. The trains so make some noise but is only until midnight and in reality you get so tired from sightseeing and doesn’t even bother.

The morning staff was rude and unfriendly. When I checked out the downstairs they didn't allow me to use the bathroom at the pub. They said it was locked. Yet I saw another guest just walk right in. They said she was part of a group checking in later that day, well, I'm a paying guest too! Had it not been for that I would give them a better rating

Would stay here again :) I don’t remember stating a preference for a quiet room but it was super noisy because of the train. I don’t mind though because my neighborhood at home is noisy. Bedding was incredibly low frills, but I didn’t get cold and that’s really what matters to me. I wish there were lights at each bed

Very pleasant and helpful staff members overall. Very good and consistently clean facilities. Such as small personal bed stand lights, clean linens, multiple bathrooms/showers, kitchen with fridge, stove, eating and cooking utensils. Also the downstairs public bar provides continental breakfast in the morning. Plus very good location close to Tube. Could be a little noisy due to the nearby train, but again, very helpful staff as earplugs are automatically included with bedding upon check in.

I arrived late (11:30pm) but staff was excellent, showed me how to use the key pads, they’re there 24/7 which left me feeling safe. (Solo female traveler) Simple bunk beds - I requested a bottom bunk for my disability and they gladly reserved it for me. I asked for an extra sheet to hang for privacy. Bunkmates were super quiet/considerate. Breakfast downstairs was banana, tea, cereal. Very cool space! Beatles “I am the walrus” was playing - nice memory. You can walk to graffiti tunnels, and Westminster Bridge which has Big Ben, London Eye, Red Double-Decker Buses, Thames River, Street Food, shops, incredible location! I only knocked off one star because of the very old restrooms (could use new seats) and all the stairs (I use a cane so it was a Climb, but of course you’ll have that in these wonderful old buildings.) Note: the city noise didn’t bother me at all, but it does bother some guests. I suggest a white noise machine would go a long way at night.
