Graduate by Hilton Madison

Restaurant was not open on the one night we stayed and they had a small coffee shop. It’s a smaller lobby and public areas than a normal graduate hotel.

I had a wonderful time at the Graduate! My room was fantastic--spacious, comfortable, clean, and nicely decorated. I really appreciated the bright, fun decorations throughout the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, close to State Street and the Memorial Union, and also an easy walk to the Capitol. Great amenities at the hotel including a very cozy lobby, the coffee shop, and the rooftop bar/restaurant. I couldn't have asked for a more comfortable and relaxing stay!

The staff, especially Roxy, were incredibly friendly, helpful, and engaging, and we really enjoyed speaking with them. The location couldn't be more perfect, especially if you’re down there with a potential UW Madison student. The room's cleanliness left a lot to be desired, especially the bathroom. The beds were comfortable, and the hotel's theming, including the room, was cute. The rooftop bar is really fun and has a great view of the Capitol. Be aware that there is a substantial number of homeless individuals who hang out in the passageway from the hotel to State Street, but that is not the fault of the hotel. Lastly, the valet service was very efficient and had in-and-out privileges.

Roxanne was wonderful, checking us in and getting us a room when our original booking wasn’t ready. I love the decor at the Graduate brands, reflecting local campus traditions, and this was no exception. Walkable to State Street with many dining and bar options. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a very enjoyable stay. The front desk staff were very helpful and pleasant. The valet parking attendants were courteous but we did not have to use our car at all during our stay since the location is within walking distance of most places on the UW Campus. The rooms were small but clean and comfortable and had everything that we needed. I loved the decor of the rooms, lobby, and the rooftop bar/ restaurant. We would definitely chose to stay here again!

Wifi wasn't secure. Continuously bothered by Ai. Left 2 days ago and still getting billed.

The Graduate is fortunate that they have a fantastic location, because the hotel itself is run down and badly needs a renovation. The lobby and rooms badly need to be upgraded, and I imagine the owners could then get top dollar.
