The hotel is family-run, and the hosts were incredibly kind, courteous, and welcoming. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was newly renovated and very clean. The only downside was the noise: we could clearly hear the toilet flushing from the floor above, which was quite disturbing. Also, around 6:00 AM, it seems the municipality cleans the streets, and the noise from that was extremely loud and disruptive. We got up very early due to the noise.

I recently stayed at Hotel Prati in Montecatini Terme, and I must say it was a thoroughly enjoyable and comfortable experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. Their attentiveness, kindness, and readiness to help with recommendations and local information added a personal touch that made a big difference. The location of the hotel is ideal—quiet and peaceful, yet within walking distance to the city center, making it a perfect base to explore Tuscany (including day trips to Florence, Pisa, and Lucca). The room was clean, well-maintained, and functional, with all the basic amenities needed for a pleasant stay. The air conditioning worked efficiently (a blessing during the summer heat), and the Wi-Fi connection was stable throughout. While the décor is a bit classic, it matches the charm and authenticity of Montecatini.

All was nice and very comfortable, especially the family staff who were really doing everything to feel good. It's not so much I didn't like, but this time of the year it can be cold and there was no heating on. But a minor point overall ?

We arrived late at the hotel but the receptionist (i.e. the daughter of the family-run hotel) assured us that this was OK and when we arrived she welcomed us with open arms and a wonderful smile. She even helped us with the parking which is on the street parallel to the hotel. In addition to this, she even went above and beyond and offered us tea or something else to drink before heading up to our room. We were there not even 5 minutes and the service was top notch! The hotel itself oozes old Italian style (it used to be an Italian villa) and you immediately feel comfortable there. The room was immaculately clean and extremely comfortable (I had an amazing night's sleep there) and, again, it was full of old Italian charm. We woke up and headed for breakfast and were greeted by the hotel owner (the father of the family-run hotel) and what a lovely, warm and funny character he was! We not only had a lovely breakfast but had free entertainment from him too! He could not have been more helpful and generous if he tried. He also made the best cappuccino I've tasted in a long time using an old coffee machine. It was also all intensely relaxed, easy and laid back and at no point did we feel under pressure to finish our food or check out on time. The price was very reasonable for such quality too! Quite simply one of the best hotels I've stayed in, to be honest. If I could give it more stars, then I would. Thank you for a wonderful (but short :( ) stay :)! Very highly recommended! Nothing! A perfect stay :)
