THE BREAKFAST WAS AWESOME!! THE best in the country so far. Awesome japanese foods that are palatable to ALL tastes including western. The poké bowls were incredible. Awesome onsen. Definitely 10/10 would return from the whole experience. The pillows were awful! Maybe BYO, very seriously.

Onsen: superb. Staff: gorgeous and proactive. The pillows were absolutely awful. Fortunately the staff could lend us a spare one that was a bit softer. Their head pillows for the bed were solid like hay in a pillow case. You could probably just buy a spare one down the street for a few bucks if needed.

Something to note is the onsen info sheet given at check-in said customers with tattoos are not allowed even if they have tattoo covers, but I'm not sure how strict they are about this. This rule wasn't anywhere on the website when we booked, which I found a little bit misleading.

This is our second time staying at Dormy Inn Premium at Namba. The breakfast Buffett was just as excellent as the first time! The cleanliness of the hotel and service from the staff was exceptional! Late night ramen was an extra treat.

The location is a great place to stay and very convenient. It’s close to Shinsaibashi, Dotonbori, and Kuromon Market, and it’s also easy to take the train anywhere. The bed was very soft, which unfortunately made it quite uncomfortable to sleep on. It didn’t provide enough support, so it was a bit difficult to get a good night’s rest.

The location is close to Dotonbori and the KIX airport limousine bus stop. Unfortunately, it's far from the subway or train station. The sento is nice The sound proofing works but could be better. We still can hear the street noise, especially the siren.

Dormy will have our vote every time! From the onsen to the 9pm noodles, the value is exceptional and the room all we need. I can't think of a thing not to like! It's functional without the flash- we aren't in the room but to sleep and it's comfortable and secure.

Breakfast was good but Coffee machine wasn’t as good as other hotels (better lattes and cappuccinos at pther hotels with coffee machines). Concierge could not call a large taxi to go to the airport - said we would have to request it 2 days ahead! They suggested using Go Taxi but they did not even recommend the airport bus shuttle two blocks away! Hall light was automatic…woke up everyone when anyone wanted to get up at night for the restroom!
