Natsumi was exceptionally friendly and helpful. She greeted us and smiled everytime she saw us. Location was the best. Easy access to subway/trains, lots of places to see within walking distance and lot of food to eat closeby. Location of Family mart around the corner was great, easy access to pick up breakfast, snacks, lunch or dinner. Toilet paper was very thin.

Another clean and tidy, well managed Fresa Inn hotel. A very short walk from the Yodoyabashi Metro and just 2-3 stops from Shin Osaka to the North and a further 3-4 stops with a change of trains from Osaka Castle. I booked this for proximity to Osaka Festival Hall (10 min walk). There's a Family Mart around the corner (of course) and the room was a little bigger than I expected. As standard for this chain there are free toiletries in the lobby plus other amenities. At the time of my stay it was just £30/night which is exeptional value for the service. Reception is on the 3rd floor by the way - take the lift as you walk in. Nothing

Highly recommended. Cost effective.

Very good location. The lift goes straight to a subway station. Easy check-in.

Fantastic location, easy access to subway and the city, clean, affordable, great staff. I asked for a higher floor and they were able to accommodate. Room was tiny but explains the affordability given the great location

Amenities and breakfast 2 days per room makeup

Biggest room out of our 4 hotels in Japan. Very nice room too. Also has a balcony. Epic.

The facility was clean, the room was comfortable and clean, on a good hotel's standard. Nothing special stands out, and the breakfast was disappointing: much fewer selections than many hotels I'd stayed, and each item was on such a small plate that when I went there, many of the items looked like leftover, just a little left. When I alerted a staff who was in the dining room (She was very kind), she made sure more would be served, but again because each item's plate was so small, another staff brought to fill in just a small portion. I had to go back there a few times to fill my stomach. And there was nothing delicious, just acceptable. For the price they charged, I'm not going back to the same location, but will try another hotel.

None. Stay was great!

It's connected to the metro system making commuting very convenient. Yodoyabashi is only a few metro stops away from Namba and Umeda, however traveling during morning/evening rush is not advisable. Staff was welcoming and spoke sufficient English. Food options nearby aren't as readily available as compared to Namba or Umeda and the area is kind of dead at night since Yodoyabashi is mainly filled with offices. Hence, it's advisable to eat and do your shopping before heading to back to Yodoyabashi.

The hotel has direct access to the subway, with the elevator taking you straight to B1 for the Midosuji Line, which was extremely convenient. The room was very comfortable, and I especially appreciated the firm mattress, which made for a great night’s sleep. A very minor point, but the window can't be opened.

It was connected to the main metro line that we used to get around Osaka which made everything so much easier! Everything was spotless and the room size was good for two. We would love to stay here again!

Pillows aren’t the best it’s a Japan issue though.

Convenience to subway, quiet and clean

First, I want to express my appreciation and gratitude to the hotel staff - thank you! Now, for the hotel and the room I booked. Very good location with perfect access to subway via elevator (elevator goes to floor B1 which is subway entrance) - literally 5-7 min from exiting the elevator on B1 to platforms for the Midosuji line; close to Osaka Umeda station (5 min ride on the Midosuji line), where you can take a train to Kyoto, Nara and some other close by cities. Though, be aware that Shinkansen line goes through Shin-Osaka station, which is a bit more far away (but still very close - just about 10 min ride on the Midosuji line). Nice room, quite spacious (at least the one I booked [Comfort Double Room]); I was able to open my pretty big suitcase (L: 75 cm [including the wheels) on the floor (I was not able to do this in some other hotels); you can store your suitcase under the bed which is super nice as well. Good comfortable bed, I slept very well. The table in the room was big enough for a laptop with a mouse + some snacks. The bathroom is ok, big enough. Nice breakfast (starts from 06:30): you can have a "Western" style breakfast (muesli, croissants) or a Japanese style breakfast (rice + soup + a lot of small portionss of side dishies [chicken, vegetables, omlete, noodles, fish, takoyaki etc); plus some sweets and drinks (water, juice, coffee). If you have enough time in the morning, I strongly recommend to try Japanese stlye breakfast - it's interesting and tasty. They also have washing machines which you can use to wash and dry your clothes (500 yen for 3 kg) - super convenient. I can't really think of anything I did not like, the hotel and the room I booked met all my expectations (actually exceeded my expectations because I was not aware about washing machines).

Convenient, and an easy entrance to. the hotel from the subway. The room space was tight but we made it work. I don’t think we could’ve fit more luggage in the room. I do think that the front desk would’ve held any extra suitcases for us, though!

Well appointed and clean, I enjoyed staying at the Fresa Yodoyabashi location. It felt very central to all the sightseeing I wanted to do and the area was very quiet at night. The staff was friendly and helpful! There is nothing I noted that needed to be improved.
