HOTEL THE FLAG Shinsaibashi

Conveniently located in Osaka near one of the main shopping streets but still far away enough for privacy and a quiet stay. Room was decently size within Japan’s standards. Room had no view as the windows are glazed. The bed and pillows were not comfy.

The room is a bit small.

This was our second time here we absolutely love the location. 10 minute walk to to doronbori and six minute walk to Shinsaibashi Street we did a lot of shopping so it was very convenient to go and drop the bags and then head out again. very lively Neighborhood as well, amazing Staff and they have the best coffee for free at all times they have a breakfast buffet which is very nice. The food was very fresh and delicious. They have a laundry room and you can borrow iron box from the Reception. the room we got was slightly small because we had a lot luggage. Use coins for laundry. We love the property its our highlight, we went back to osaka just to live here. Wish there were bigger rooms available but its always booked out

Great facilities like on-site laundry, coffee machine and breakfast. Very close to Dotonbori, Uniqlo, America-mura. Staff were very friendly and helped with same day delivery from Osaka to Kyoto. Close to train station.

The fridge doesn’t get cold enough for the ice cream to not melt

The hotel is beautiful and situated perfectly in Shinsaibashi, within close proximity to Dontonburi and Namba (walkable distances within 10 and 15 minutes respectively). Situated close to several rail lines that allowed for rapid transport to Osaka castle and Osaka station. Great shopping, food, and bars right outside the hotel doors! Hotel is maintained by exceptional staff who were friendly, available at any time, and easily assisted travelers speaking little to no Japanese. Check in and out were fast and easy. Luggage forwarding was received without issue. Hotel room was clean and beautifully maintained. Room service was effective and non-intrusive. Hotel provided very comfortable bedding and TV with good stations (but to our knowledge no streaming services). Shower was large (waterfall spout and standard spout) and great for relaxation. Free coffee and water machines were a great service. Effective laundry services, and fairly priced vending machines. Laundry services were effective, and the dryer fully dried our clothes (not the case at some other hotels we stayed at)! The time in the morning by which a preference for room cleaning had to be stated was unclear. The first morning we felt rushed by a call requesting our preference right at 10am. Gym required additional payment for use. Could use more shelving in the bathroom - we had to place some of our shower soaps on the shower floor. No free mineral waters in the fridge. The room did not have a view (faced other hotel rooms).

The location is incredible, near Exit 4 of Shinsaibashi station. Not far from main shopping street. The hotel is stylish with clean and comfortable room. Great modern style bathroom with necessary amenities. Very nice and helpful staffs. One of my favourite hotel in Osaka.

The staff is super friendly. Hotel is clean, breakfast is good and the best part is the the laundromat they have.

It is a very clean, quite hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. The locations is just at the center of the attractions, good coffee, restaurants, metro stations, izakayas and markets. The room had enough space. The bed was very confortable. Nothing

Very modern design. Good amenities. Location. Room windows couldn’t get opened, so at night the air in the room gets really dry

+ Great breakfast that parts of it are rotating every day + Very nice staff + Overall clean room (except for dust on the walls) + Great laundromat room!! + Nice location, surrounded by restaurants and it's easy to get anywhere - Room was small, and weirdly laid out, it was difficult to be in it with two large suitcases - Body towels were small - Pillows were quite small - TVs are too strict and don't allow screen mirroring
