Rihga Place Higobashi is a great budget friendly hotel with very nice quality rooms. The hotel is in an easy and convenient area with restaurants, conbini's, and right next to Higobashi Station. For japanese sized hotel rooms, we had a good amount of space. The room and bathroom were cleaned very well. Beds were also a good amount of comfortable. We enjoyed many things about Rihga Place. If we had to say something we didn't like would be having an extra pillow or two in the rooms or having more options would be great.

The room was a decent size and very clean. It was close to several train entrances and 7/11. We couldn’t open the window and the AC wasn’t great.

The location was very convenient and 15 min walking distance to umeda station if you want to save on the 180Yen Metro fare, the daily housekeeping was very good and the staff were attentive and able to speak English and or Chinese which helped a lot! Laundry machines were very expensive compared to other hotels with 700 yen to wash and dry 3kg of clothes, pillows in the hotel were very hit and miss with 1 soft pillow and 1 hard pillow. Free amenities provided at the front desk also lacked variety.

Just steps away from 7/11 and train station entrance. Breakfast buffet and staff are incredible. Single bed rooms are tiny. Consider upgrade for more space.

Walked in and the a/c was off so the room was hot. But turning it on worked and cooled off after 30 mins.

Good value for money hotel in a great location. A few meters away from Higobashi metro station. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are small, but it is the standard in Japan. Great option if you want to be close to the main attractions of Osaka in a reasonable price.

It was close to the river. It was easy to get around. There was only one small pillow. Not all the staff were friendly. When we got there early, they said we could check in early only if we bought their buffet lunch.

Staff not the most efficient we met in Japan. Very slow check in. Tiny rooms. Could not fit mid size suitcase, so had to upgrade for extra 5000¥ a night. Air-conditioning useless in both rooms we had . Reported to staff but nothing done until reported again and eventually provided with a slightly effective small cooler tower. Handly location for Higobashi metro with short ride to Tokyo station or Dotonbori areas. Or managable walk. Worst value / experience of any of the 8 hotels we stayed in during Japan trip probably.

Great value, good location, friendly staff and a comfortable room. Lots of stations nearby for getting around Osaka and the wider Kansai region and plenty of good places to eat and drink closeby too

Great place and brilliant location close to the Metro, making this a perfect location with access across the city. As a solo traveller this hotel was great, room was very clean, spacious and modern. Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Osaka!
