Decent rooms Two blocks from the subway entrance which is tricky to find. Not near any major train stations. Taking luggage on a subway isn’t for everyone

Good position near metro and some good restaurants

Room very small for a couple. No storage space for clothing (only 5 hangers, no shelfs or drawers). Bed and pillows were very firm.

Convenient and near the Y metro line direct to a lot of attractions like Namba and Ichiba market. Beds are ok. Rooms are clean enough. Noisy, isolation is really not good. We had trouble sleeping because of footsteps above us and noises around in other rooms. The washing machines and dryers are there it’s good but the dryers are really not working well and the service rooms are not well ventilated so the drying takes forever (count 2h of drying for 4kg of laundry).

Excellent location, walking distance to many interesting places, nice views around. Comfortable bed, kettle and hairdryer in the room. My room had horrible ventilation. It was impossible to have fresh air, even with AC on. We had a constant feeling of lack of oxygen. The smell in the bathroom was also unpleasant, coming from the pipes maybe. It's impossible to open the window and it has the layer on that prevents light passing through so in majority of cases light in the room has to be switched on.

Great location, and reasonable price. Laundry was available, so you don’t need to bring many cloths. Relatively small room

They have a self service bar for all kinds of amenities. The staff is really nice, one receptionist helped me making phone calls when I lost a bag. “No view” means the window can’t be opened and the window glass is kind of thick tinted? - little sun shine coming in only. None of the USB outlets in the room worked for us. The bathtub in our room seemed to be loose, as it made sounds when you stepped in it. Breakfast wasn’t available when we stepped in the lobby by 9.30 sharp - there seems not to be a buffet ready but breakfast will be served to you upon request.

Decent size room for Japanese standard. Staff was very helpful and always smiling. The hotel has a policy where "Rooms are cleaned once every 3 nights for consecutive stays". This is such an unfair practice in the name of promoting sustainable environmental goals. We paid for a full service and were shocked to discover this policy at the reception when we checked in. Every single day, we also had to leave our dirty towels and pack our rubbish in bin bags and leave it outside our door before 10am. Otherwise, we will not be receiving new towels for the day! How terrible is that? I started to question myself if I was still on holiday or at my house, doing everyday chores. Obviously, the staff isn't to be blamed for the rules set by the management especially because our room was super clean the day we checked in. But it's safe to say that we will never book a Smile Hotel again.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, good location and great view from our room. Rooms are on the smaller side but pretty standard for Japan.

The location and room space is really good! I missed places to hang clothes and also in the bathroom.
