The Dunes Hotel

The location was perfect, with easy walking access to downtown and plenty of nearby shops and restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable, and I especially appreciated the spotless bathroom. The air conditioning worked great, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The amenities were excellent as well. I loved the pool, and having complimentary bikes available was a great bonus. Overall, everything exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely stay here again! 😊

Staff and lobby were nice. The room was clean but had a big gap between the door and floor. That needs to be fixed.

This was a great place we had a problem with our room in the beginning. But the managers were really nice and they fixed us up in a new room right away. This is a really great place to stay. We’ll definitely come back.

Arrived slightly before check in and they were able to get me into a room. Check in was quick and easy. Pool roomy enough for all that were there

The biggest highlight is definitely the location. It’s right in the heart of downtown Palm Springs, just a couple blocks south of Arenas Road and directly across from the free downtown parking garage. Being able to walk to restaurants, shopping, and nightlife was a huge plus. The hotel also has a nice fitness center and a small game room, which is a great option for families looking to get the kids out of the heat for a bit. There was also a hot tub and pool area, although I didn’t end up using them since my stay was in the middle of June and it was already plenty warm outside. There were just a couple of things that kept it from being a five-star stay for me. The elevators are very small and feel a bit outdated. Also, if your room faces the pool, be aware that you’ll hear quite a bit of noise from the courtyard. It wasn’t terrible, but if you’re planning to sleep in or are a light sleeper, it’s something to keep in mind. Overall, I’d stay here again, especially because of the location. If being within walking distance of everything downtown Palm Springs has to offer is your priority, The Dunes is definitely worth considering.

Other than having to switch rooms 3 times due to AC not working, our stay was fantastic. Staff was very understanding & helpful when it came to moving rooms & accommodating our stay. Nice area walking distance to a lot of our favorite places near by! My 3yr old had a blast at the pool (which was not busy at all) the amenities were great & again I can’t reiterate enough how wonderful the staff was. Would definitely stay at the dunes again.
