- The staff was exceptional and always problem solving or making things great (shout out to Cheyanne and Sebastian); this is the best resort staff overall, that we have ever come across - We loved that you could access all of the resorts across the full compound; this gave us more meal options, more swimming and bar access, and greater beach access (they have shuttles or most things are short walks) - The Grand Palladium Palace was beautiful and they had many athletic activities throughout the day for the whole family - Quick drive to/from the airport (this was a game-changer compared to Jamaica) - The resort advertises massive amounts of international culinary options and tons of restaurants to choose from. Reality is that they have two buffets (only one open at a time), that have mini sections of international cuisine, but advertise like these are all separate resultant options, thus misleading you. In addition, upon arrival to stay for six days, the ability to book restaurant reservations was very limited, so access to “many restaurant options” is also misleading. - The buffets and snack areas are not controlled well enough to stay sanitary; tons of cross-using of buffet utensils, people using their hands to grab food off the buffet, and no one stopping these practices. I got food poisoning on the fourth day, and it prevailed for over a week. - The gym facilities are top of the line however, we were told on the first day of use, that my almost 15 year old daughter could only use the gym between the hours of 10am-5pm (major pool, beach, and resort activity window). She is an elite athlete so this was a problem. This also was not advertised on any websites or social media prior to arrival. - We had to pay in full prior to arrival. This was fine, but the woman from the Grand Palladium headquarters offices who provided us the total amount due in Dominican Pesos, continued to quote me the wrong amount (overcharging us). Her reasoning was exchange rate, however, the booking.com site quoted me a set amount locked in USD. To ensure I secured our room, I paid the overcharged rate even after repeatedly requesting she change the amount due to reflect appropriate amount. This lady from the Grand Palladium main office began to ghost me, thus leading to major anxiety. Booking.com is doing fantastic at assisting us to receive our refund, but beware of getting overcharged by someone using incorrect exchange rates, then refusing to answer you! - The beach is stunning but usually covered in seaweed after a few hours.

Was not happy at all with property. TV in room didn’t work. Sheets on bed stained and dirty. Lobby had broken glass and was not cleaned up. Battery to room entry door died and wanted 2 hours to get in room. Pool had toilet paper in it. Did not have enough towels in room. Stayed 1 night and left resort and went to another resort.

Majority of the staff were very friendly and helpful. I did not like that. The numbers to your rooms were not located in a walkway entryway so you can easily identify where you're going nor was it highlighted. I did not like the fact that the bathroom had only a step up and walk into shower, which is not good for a person that has mobility issues. I was originally placed in a room when I walked out on the balcony I saw the side of the restaurant with workers bringing garbage and trash. The last thing that I did not like was I wasted $100 in a gift card at the hotel to purchase alcohol when I was told I would be able to bring it back as long as the seal Was not open. I found that to be incorrect and had to drop $149 in the trash during my return flight. I also was bitten by red ants taking pictures in front of the Indian restaurant. There's no sign that indicate you should be aware of red ant on the facility. My experience there was not that pleasant overall however they did not disclose. There was no elevator and that you would have to walk up to flights up steps, it was OK for me, but I assume there would've been an elevator the fact that they have housekeeping facilities on each floor where you constantly see cleaning cart is a take away from the property as well.

The facility didn't have enough towels we were constantly waiting to shower.

Food was very good, but that is about all I can say was positive Numerous issues with our room, had to change room and staff/hotel did not want to take ownership of the maintenance issues. They wanted to bribe us with another room, but tried to have me sign a form saying the problems were not their fault and that I could not sue them nor post any negative comments on social media!!! Their customer service is completely faulted and will not offer any refunds or discounts.
-
The gym The pressure to sell everything, from massages, to day trips, to special dinners, to wines, to shared vacations. At least 20 different sales agents contact you a day to sell you something. One day one sales person contacted me asking why didn't I purchased from another one !!! Never again, they attacked even in the lounge chairs.

It has all the amenities that you would expect from a resort. The ac was mediocre at best and so was the service.
-
Trying to sell time share, see through shower
-
Housekeeping could have been more better
-
Bath tub is dangerously high Food was not good.
-
The frosted glass in the hotel rooms and bathrooms on the grounds was see through and needs to be updated!

Exceptional All Inclusive. This is a higher end resort, well worth the price. Immaculate, clean, best food I've had in an All Inclusive. Beachfront, big rooms, I highly recommend. Family friendly or Adult travel, it's a great place for all. I couldn't fault anything in the whole week I was there.

The property was very clean and easy to navigate. A lot of options for food. Staff was very helpful and attentive.
-
It's a beautiful place. The location is idyllic. The hard thing is getting around all 3 resorts to different venues. We enjoyed the food. Beach and pools were great. We had issues with our room throughout our stay. The customer service varied throughout our stay. We had wonderful service and some not so great service. We were glad we went but will not go back.
