the more modern "apartment style" room is better equipped. wi-fi,tv, shower works better and is roomier. since we stayed in 3 different rooms,I would suggest paying a few bucks more and staying in the more modern rooms. the staff are helpful and the location is close to the beach and seafront walk. Jalan Cemara is less hectic than other parts of Sanur and has many good restaurants.

Meters from Semawang Beach. Sandwiched between two large 'Resorts' so the area was really nice. The section of the beach was nice. No seaviews from any of the rooms. Two pools one large and one small. Very quiet patrons. Nice breakfast for the handful of people who stay there - so there was no big rush like in some resorts. Also pool is very accesssible. The room was large with beautiful polished concrete floors and modern look to it. The bathroom and toilet were newish and plumbing all intact. All staff are an assett to this place actually and they make the stay worthwhile. From the reception staff to the cleaners and gardeners and the ktichen staff - all very friendly and helpful. My room was on the ground floor. In the evenings there was some sort of smell - like rotting timber or whatever. Mozzies are a bit of a pain so need to keep doors closed. No fly screen. The towels were very old. The bed could be made more comfortable by putting an overlay perhaps. Found it too hard. Likewise with the pillows - very hard.

The resort is very close to the beach, supermarket, restaurants and town. It is very basic but clean and value driven. SInce my last stay it has had some upgrades. It is clean, tidy and easy to stay at, just a little older and tired compared to other places. A great spot to stay if you value privacy and a little more room than the big resorts. Staff were great and everything was easy Sanur has grown so much and all of the area is so much cleaner and easier to get around. It is an older resort and could do with some love to the gardens and the pool areas. The breakfast is very basic (but also enough)

I will say the cleanliness and amenities and also the water. The room need some maintenance as well.

It was old and musty smelling. Food was horrible, beds and pillows were hard, older guy at the front desk wasn’t friendly, we only had a sheet and had to ask for blankets 2x to get enough, pictures online were very misleading and I just don’t see how this is a 4star accommodation.

Yes it was very very nice resort the diving section was very professionally run as well. Attention to detail from the everything the room, the cleanliness the beautiful garden everything was exceptional the food was also exceptional. I didn't have a bad meal,breakfast was included in my deal and it was a really delicious breakfast very very happy with my stay there we would not hesitate to stay there again. Truly a 5 star Dive Shop I’m a Dive Master and highly recommend the diving at Aqua Dive Resort

Beautiful gardens, quiet location. Five minute walk to the beach. Fantastic cafes and restaurants on the main street and the beachfront. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Very conveniently located, a lovely shaded outdoor space with pool and plunge pool. Included breakfast was delicious and generous. Staff were wonderful and very helpful. Rooms are a little dated and some minor maintenance needed in the bathroom.

Staff were great, friendly and accommodating. Really enjoyed the breakfasts. Bed was so hard and requested 2 more pillows, but did not come! Bed sheets, pillow cases and bathroom towels were all stained and did not smell very nice. Recommend upgrading the linen. Generally we felt the resort was a little tired and could do with a general spruce up.

The staff are excellent. Super flexible. I recently had to change the booking dates, they let me change and cancel the old booking with no problem. Always welcome us with a smile. Highly recommended!!

I wouldn't consider this a "destination" hotel, but I was VERY happy with my stay. I needed to stay in Sanur with a straight shot to the airport and this was great. The grounds and pools were lovely, and the staff were so helpful and friendly. Lots of restaurants are close by. Amazing value. My expectations were low based on these reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. The room was a little rough around the edges, but perfectly fine for what I needed. The staff were wonderful.
