The room is beautifully designed and spacious enough. The hotel is conveniently located next to Petite France. AC wasn't cooling enough, but a fan was supplied upon request. The hotel doesn't offer any toiletries - everything needs to be requested. If you need to put something in the fridge, you need to request the hotel staff to put it for you in the fridge. The staff aren't friendly at all. My wife was even ambushed by one of the staff members right before check out to settle the payment asap, even though I informed them I was going away for some time before checking out. It felt humiliating to be treated as if we were going to leave without paying.

the main building is beautiful, the rooms are clean and spacious the staff feels "stingy". most amenities are available only if you ask for them. when we asked if they could provide a bottle of water for the room, we were told to drink the water from the tap. parking is not complementary for guests... Also, instead of the rooms in the main building (featured on the Booking.com page, with wood beams and most probably more atmosphere), we were placed in a secondary building, across the street, where the ambience is a bit colder. the shower doesnt have a door, and the poor design means that the bathroom is flooded everytime you take a shower.
