Near the Malecón, easy access to bars, restaurant, beaches and close to the Old Veracruz The elevators were too slow

The front desk, espescially when i was going to do my check-in they basically ignored me and later when I needed to reach out to them i called 3 times and no one ever responded.

The hotel has a roof top pool and hot tub However, they told us they only turn on the hot tub for the weekend. The weather was mild and overcast oneday so we were trying to use it and was disappointed when we were not able to.

Breakfast was great. Location was great. Cleaning service was great.. Aside from that the front desk concierge were all very nice. One front desk man was very rude and had refused to give me towels until I said I was going to report him then he gave me two towels.. The shower stall was stained. The TV was useless.

Everything, but specially the view I liked everything

The location is perfect for walking to the historic district and nearby restaurants. The view is amazing, so definitely book an ocean view room and make sure to check out the rooftop. The bellhop and valet service were awesome, very friendly, and genuinely helpful. Shout out to the cleaning staff, who were kind, attentive, and clearly doing their best to make guests feel welcome—sometimes in ways that go above and beyond. We booked a king room with a city view, but it must have been the unrenovated side of the building because it smelled heavily of mold and had old wet towels stuffed in the leaking window sills. They did move us to a different king room with a partial ocean view that was better, but the first impression was rough. The pet policy also felt excessive—besides a 1000 peso cash deposit, they charge 400 pesos per night for a dog, even if it’s a three-pound chihuahua on tile floors. The room didn’t contain anything remotely worth that much risk. The pool rules were longer than the pool itself, and don’t expect to enjoy sunrise with a coffee up there, because that’s not allowed either. And after we paid for another night and another 400 pesos for the dog, they were still stingy with the in-room coffee. Being that tight over a couple instant packets after we literally extended our stay was just petty. overall, It felt more like being monitored than being on vacation.

I like the location the best. Watching the fisherman and walking historic Veracruz.

- Big, clean, nicely decorated rooms - Quiet (stayed on Tue night) - Cold/hot water dispenser in the hallway - Coffee machine in the room - Decent restaurant The first room I got was on the top floor and the walls had some water damage (there had been really bad rains recently). However, I was promptly given another room when I requested a change.

It was clean (credit solely to the maids.) but that is about the only good thing I can write about this hotel. The cleaning staff were friendly and helpful, but the front desk was less than stellar. I got the distinct impression this hotel thinks very highly of itself with all its rules and restrictions despite not being that luxurious or comfortable. The WiFi was patchy. The tiny pool had more rules than square meters. My key kept malfunctioning. (I was told it was due to cell phone proximity which seems like a major flaw for a key in 2025.) I visited with my small dog and there was a large deposit and fee despite the room being nearly bare with tile flooring. (I don’t think a single item of furniture- not that there was much- was worth the $1,000 deposit.)

Great place to stay! Clean, great location, beautiful pool, and the staff was so friendly and helpful. It's an easy 5-10 minute straight walk to the ocean. I would highly recommend it!

The breakfast I would say just ok. I liked the locatiom Nothing to do with the hotel it has to do with taxis in Veracruz, many are not airconditioned and hel together with duct tape. Fares a confusing, they are my zones but the drivers charge what they want. They are antiquated and I would have to use gps on my phone to show them how to get where we are going. They don’t take credit cards. UBER or other services are rare to get.
